Forum Marketing Is this Allowed ? CPA Experts Please Weigh In.

At the bottom of an offer I am interested in on Max Bounty it says:

Unless otherwise indicated, or specific permission has been received by the merchant, BANNERS are solely used for on-website ad placement, TEXT AD are solely for on-website placement or text based email newsletters. Neither can be used as SOLO EMAIL ADS.

So can I put this link in my sig on a forum website or would I have to create a website?

Thank you so much!
Ann

You should ask your affiliate manager about this because some networks disallow forum marketing or they call it (spamming their links through discussion boards).

Some networks allow this type of forum marketing and it's a great model but requires a lot of work (Unless it's outsourced).

I agree. Also, putting an offer in the signature is a lot less valuable than building a landing page and pre-selling that offer. Then, if the offer goes down, you can switch it out. You can also build a list from the page to continue marketing to.

Yup, you should ask your AM for anything you don't understand or you're not sure what to do.

Having a landing page is better in most of cases, because you can have more possibilities on convincing the visitor to get involved into the offer.

Hi Ann, if you have any question about your source of traffic, contact your affiliate manager to be sure that it is allowable.
