Hey all,

I'm getting somewhere around $0.07-0.11 EPC from traffic I'm getting from YouTube. How can I go about increasing that figure?

Hehe, sorry I'm still new to this.

I don't use direct PPC per se. I have comments posted that encourage readers to google specific search terms--where I am ranked #1. The visitors are then directed to an iframed CPA / Clickbank offer using a full-screen lightbox.

I'm currently promoting across MaxBounty, Clickbank, and Amped Media in the health / weight loss / make money verticals.

So to summarize my traffic funnel:
      1. Comment placed on video (Costs $0.04). Comment encourages user to google a term
      2. User sees the video and googles the term--this converts at an estimated 40%.
      3. User sees my website ranked #1 for the keyword they're searching for and clicks through. This is another 50-90%. There are some keywords where I control every slot--top 10 organic searches & sometimes adwords.
      4. As the user loads the page, they are presented with a 100% iframed offer in a full-screen lightbox.
In short, for every 1000 views of a comment on YouTube, I'm getting 200 - 360 views to my websites. One $50 campaign can earn as much as $600.

This is fairly raw and unrefined as a means of getting traffic. I figured I could apply some PPC type improvements and optimizations to get better performance.

What else do you need to know?

That's genius But have you actually made that money/technique or are you just speculating?

I'll be more than happy to screenshare over skype and browse around showing you the screens you want.

In exchange for that Skype session, I'd love to hear how to improve this funnel.

I keep seeing sales pages touting $1+ EPC. That hasn't been my experience.

Its all about getting more viewers to your youtube and having ADs show up before the video rather than having a video with small AD on the bottom. This is an example

Now all you have to do is drive enough traffice to the video so that even though you might only earn 7-11 cents per view, you make-up for it by having a ton of views.

Well bro from the looks of it your problem is not traffic is more of a conversion issue. This is quite easy to fix. When most people are dealing with EPC issue's they focus on getting more traffic.

I do the complete opposite. I focus more on the conversion. And then once i can increase my conversion then I increase my traffic which in return increases my EPC.

I would def love to help you out here bro. I'm not on the forum that often so if you would like to chat on "Skype" PM me and I'm sure we can be of some value to each other. I'm currently doing some things on YouTube and I'd love to bounce some ideas off each other to.

But if you chose not to thats fine as well. But I hope what I said helped you in some manner.

                Good Luck!

This is superb technique. You are actually creating demand for your own keywords for which you are already ranked since no one else is competing for those.

By the way, can you share a few examples of the types of keywords you are creating through youtube video commenting?

Post more videos (different videos of course) that lead to the same offer so that more people click on your video (because even if you are 1st result people won't always click on your video, if you post more videos you have a better chance of your videos beeing clicked, simple as that)

    thanks for sharing.
Actually you have to increase the hits in you videos. then you can increase the earning. for this don't even use Fiverr or this type of sources. these traffics are cool for just getting a number. not any kind of clicks or sells.

Did you try creating a landing page, instead of iframing directly the offer?

Preselling isn't my strong point (Yes, I've tried a landing page). At least with the iframing, I get 100% CTR.

Yes but why would the 100% CTR make you happy if they don't convert also 100%, so maybe with a preselling landing page, your CTR will drop a little bit but your conversions will go higher, anyway I think here you should experiment.

I've been applying Paul Hancox's Presell Mastery, and can get CTRs as high as 70%, but conversions are about the same as with direct iframing, which results in a lower EPC.

Get your landing page more optimized. You are getting pretty decent EPC I think in youtube. Change your landing page and the copy. You should get some decent sales.
