Going to try my hand at PPV/ CPA with VPS

Hi guys

Payday I'm going to Invest in a VPS from beyondhosting.

I want to get prosper202 setup and test out some CPA offers using PPV advertising.

I was just going to buy any URL with the word "offers" in it.

I dont really have any relivent domains I don't think.

will the starter plan at $39.99 be enough for what I need?

any tips or advice would be greatly appriciated.

also the only network that I am with at the moment is incentivize.

    I use beyondhosting. It's pretty good. Starter pack should be ok for now depending on the amount of traffic you send. As far as your domain - anything short and sweet will do. You Prosper hub will basically serve to redirect your visitors anyway. No one really (except the curious) will be visiting your page

    But if you want something with "offers" in it... just use 'your name' + offers; thus ashoffers.com.

    Lastly, branch out into more networks; maxbounty, peerfly, etc. Incent networks and offers are great, but you'll want a wide array of offers at your disposal to test and earn with.

    For now the starter pack will probably be fine, since you are just starting off.. once you do hit a certain level of traffic you will probably want to look at upgrading..

    I'd stay away from domains with offers in it, you'll be likely putting a red flag on yourself to traffic sources and other affiliates...

      does it matter what domain I use.

      say if I was to use badwebs or codguide

      that way I dont have to pay seperate hosting for these

      I think I can only use one domain with starter plan.

      it says one ip, can i used that ip with multiple domains?

        It doesn't matter as long as it is working well for you and your business. But don't choose domains with offers in it. A good domain will help you expand and a bad one will collapse.

    For your tracking you should use a separate domain from your offers domain. Just to keep snoops out. Also if I recall from speaking with Tyler, the starter package includes WHM and you can add unlimited domains.

    As for PPV traffic with BeyondHosting, we have been with BH for over 2 years and send A LOT of traffic, BH handles it very well with fast page loads and very little-no downtime. Maybe a few hrs of down time over the past 30+/mo total.

    Should be plenty to get started. Going with a VPS is a smart idea early on IMO. That VPS should be enough to last you for a bit before upgrading.
