PPV keywords testing

Hi,

Need some help with PPV. So I work with Ieadimpact.

1) I found an offer like "Free Skyrim game + $250 coupon". Email submit.
2) I set up 3 landing pages. + rotator
3) I track them in prosper202.
4) I upload 500 urls parsed by Skyrim keywords, general game sites (with proper demography like: 18-24yo, male, low income, I use Quancast), facebook pages, youtube videos, keywords.
5) I begin to send traffic.
6) Sent about 500 clicks in general, got 2 Click Outs to CPA offer.

How many should I give traffic to each keyword/url? For example an url showed 118 times with 0 clicks. Should I switch it off? Should I continue testing in this gase?


Nobody needs a free game??? I dont know what am I doing wrong. I undesratnd psychology of people who installed adware, they are mostky stupid and want stuff for free.

Also I tried something really targeted. Like "watch men in black 3". Sometimes CTR was 30%. But It still converts very bad (downloads).

Also tested dating offers. Spent about $80, got back $20

    I usually recommend against promoting submit offers on PPV.

    Your CTR was pretty bad so I would need to see your LP's to give you advice on those.

    Generally speaking, I would start out with 20-50 targets and rotating 1 landing page vs direct link.

    A few things I see right off the bat - you need to get your ctr up, you also should be rotating through offers instead of just relying on just 1. How long did you let your offer run prior to coming with these results? Chances are im guessing you may need more sample data. (along with killing off your non-converting targets)

      It is 3 hours results. I just stopped it because of low CTR. I think that this combination will not work any better. You know, I'm not interested in getting 500 visitors/day with PPV. (I have one seo project with about 40 000 daily visitors). Maybe it is my mistake, I dont know, but at the moment what I see - is just a tiny profits...

    I'd start out with max 20-30 urls. with the big number of url's you have right now it's gonna be hard to get any significant data without selling your kidney.

    About 20 actually give most of the traffic. I think the problem with the landing.

    Try getting massive amount of keywords and then test and see which ones are profitable and use them to get the best ROI possible.

    hi, Pava. my advice is do what you are good at. you get about 40 000 daily visitors from your seo. you should think how to maximize your profit from these traffic (try optimize adsense or try other cpc,cpm,cpa). or just copy this module to another project.

    dont try to everything. just do what can bring you money

    First of all - email/zip submit is a bad choice.
    Now to Landing page - I suggest to do a screenshot LP. It's when you take a screent shot of the offer LP and on this base designing a lander that presells the offer
    Use things that catch attention like animated items (button for example).
    You should also test the direct link with this offers, maybe it will work better...

    P.S. personally I never had any luck with submits on PPV, and 1st tier PPC engines won't allow them!
