Affiliate links in forum signatures: Conversions?

Hey guys, I have noticed on this forum as well as others, that it is common practice to place affiliate links for various related products in the signature box. I have done no different.

But I wonder about the success rate of marketing like this. It seems like these days most people have moved on from forum marketing, and I was hoping someone wouldn't mind sharing what, if any, success they have had with conversions of these affiliate links.

well mostly here guys do this just because of seo purpose .... ye you can get traffic to your websites from WF too but if they are related with internet marketing etc ... links to cpa offers wont work neither aff links in signature are allowed in WF.

it seems no forum will allow aff link in signatures. maybe you can put your own website url for landing

I see many forum does not allow to put aff signature. Also I dont think we could get a good conversion from forum signature. Here we all are to share real idea or share solution for any problem. There I think it will demotivate us if we see aff signature in anyone's post. I think so.

  Why do you say that? Nobody's allowed to have a direct affiliate link in their signature here, no matter what WF services they pay for.
  
  To answer the original question, though: Warriors do click signature links, and they do convert. The potential is there if you have a product that fits this audience.

No one can have direct affiliate links, on WF and most other forums.

Moderators are smart enough.

But you can build a website around it. And why not?
