Facebook Ad Platform - Declined Declined Declined

Hey guys! I am trying to put up my first Facebook ad for a trend coming up and it's your typical lead generating site. (Click the link, put your email in, have a chance to get a free item such as a movie ticket etc.)

Facebook keeps declining my attempts. I've tried creating my own landing page. I've tried adjusting the wording around but I've had no luck. I'm unsure if Facebook will ban me if I keep attempting but I know I could make a few bucks if I could get in on this trend before it's too late.

Any ideas or help?

PS. I'm using an offer from AdvertMarketing.

  • Check your offer 'trust status' in mywot(Dot)com. If there are bad reviews, facebook can and will disapprove your ad.

And also make sure that you're following Facebook advertising guidelines. Facebook

    • Of course... the mywot has a low score for it. It's a shame because it's legit. (I tried it personally just to make sure with a test email account.)

Do any of you have any luck with quiz/social based lead generating affiliate offers that are Facebook Ad compliant?
  • You need to give us some more details to be able to help you. You are going too broad here.
I have been running free movie tickets campaigns on Facebook without any issues.

    • If you don't mind, what do you mean by being too broad? Or better yet...what details are you looking for?

I appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance.
  • Which offer are you trying to promote? Most of the offers promising a free thing and some of this things are not allowed on Facebook.
Do you use the word FREE in your ad copy or landing page?
Are you using your aff link as it is while testing direct linking?
Have you managed your geo redirects to make your offer viewable for all countries?

What is the rejection reason been given to you by FB ads team?

    • Thanks again for getting back to me. To answer your questions:

Which offer are you trying to promote? Most of the offers promising a free thing and some of this things are not allowed on Facebook?

-It was an offer for free movie tickets to an upcoming movie that is making a lot of buzz.

Do you use the word FREE in your ad copy or landing page?

-No use of the word free.

Are you using your aff link as it is while testing direct linking?
Have you managed your geo redirects to make your offer viewable for all countries?

-I am unsure how to do this. I did create my own personal landing page. I am not sure if it's against policy to share it so I won't unless it's ok'd.

What is the rejection reason been given to you by FB ads team?

-"The destination of your ad or Sponsored Story either violates Facebook's Advertising Guidelines or could not be reviewed. Before resubmitting it, please visit our Help Center for additional information and examples compliant with our Advertising Guidelines."

I have to get going so I won't be able to reply back right away but I'll be checking this thread a little later.

Thanks a lot for your help!

  • depends what niche you running on facebook. YOu need to try read their TOS first before submitting ads or LP.

They do not like affiliate link though.

Also go mywot.com and check if the url is blacklisted
  • Yeah that didn't work either. *le sigh*

Eventually I'll get there... Just need to be persistent. lol
