Getting Free Money into my CPA account. Has this happened to you?

So in one of my CPA accounts I noticed something strange. I noticed a little while back shortly after being approved for the network i was getting clicks for offers I did not promote or even view. I thought it was pretty strange that it was happening but kind of brushed it off. Now today one of those clicks actually converted to a sale. I looked up affiliate link hijacking but isnt it usually the other way around? I should be losing clicks and not gaining them.

These clicks arent a lot, in fact I got maybe 4-5 a day from offers I dont promote but this is the first time it got a sale. Should I worry about this or kind of ignore it? I tried shooting an email to my Aff rep but never got a response.

I remember I once got 1 conversion on adworkmedia I think, and it was the 1st time I had logged in (they had approved me like 2 days before I logged in). I was like "yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay free 0.95$, im rich!". I would like to say "ignore it, it's free money", but maybe someone could be using your links and using fraudulent traffic for example. Send a ticket, contact your AM via email or skype, it's better to be sure it doesn't hurt you in any way.

Sometimes what happens is if your promoting a offer based on one country (instance: USA) and someone from Canada clicks, their shown something similar (or a survey).

I had about $50 worth of converts this way.

You know, that makes sense. I am promoting US based offers and the other things I promote are from other countries. This is specifically for Maxbounty I have encountered it (only cpa network I use currently)

Yup, same thing for me on Maxbounty. I was promoting a usa offer on a media buy and started noticing conversions on foreign country offers.

I can assure you that foreign offers is what is happening here. Kind of a nice surprise, isn't it? After so much hard work, getting something like this in your favor is a great boost.

Have you ever used the links from the network?

I've never had this happen if I've never used the links before, however if I have used the links I have seen traffic trickle in after I've stopped using them

Most campaign accept traffic from a limited number of countries. If you send a click from a disallowed country to a campaign, we redirect the surfer to geo appropriate offer... trying to give you that chance to generate a lead with this surfer after all.

I can't agree more with you JP Sauve, That happened with me many times at Maxbounty and its way much appreciated so we don't get the visitor wasted.
