Is a website must for maxbounty?

Hi all,

I'm working with two networks and planning to apply for maxbounty too. However, in their application form website field is shown as required to fill. Does anyone know if it is a must for them? I'm just creating landing pages, so I don't have a complete website.

Thanks.

  • Most important part is how you drive traffic to CPA offers and if you drive incentive traffic. Try to list your landing pages in your application.
  • Say something like: I'll make separate websites for each separate offer and then drive traffic to them with multiple traffic sources like PPC, SEO, etc.

It should be fine. As long as you're honest with them, you shouldn't have problems. They like honest newcomers even if they're newbies.

  • It's not 'required' but doesn't hurt, if you don't have one, just explain why. MB is really good for working with people for stuff like this..

  • I think so..when you applied they do not allowed free email service (e.g. yahoo or gmail)
  • I'm a member of MB and I'm sure a website is required. My initial application was declined and I was told via email that a website was compulsory in order to be accepted (even though you may choose not to promote offers on the site).

    • Thank you guys for replying! As I can see there is no consensus on this issue among warriors. Some think it is a must, some think it isn't. If I build a simple website and then apply, will it be something negative? Or should I just try my chance without a website by telling them how I'm going to drive traffic? Hard to decide.

  • You don't need a website, explain why you don't have one and it's not a problem. I even got accepted in EWA without a website.
  • Get a blogspot blog. Post a few tips on whatever you like. And put it in the application.

    • As far as I know having a blogspot blog or another kind of free blog is not a good idea. Don't the networks expect you to have your own hosting?
  • Listen, there's no easy answer. How can we tell the difference between an affiliate with honest intentions, but put together a blogspot page obviously just for the network application, and a Chinese fraudster doing the exact same thing with the intent of ripping off our advertisers?

Sign up as best you can. You'll likely get rejected without a site... but then pick up the phone and call the affiliate manager who reviewed you application. Plead your case, be honest, and you might be surprised.

  • MB got very choosy nowadays about their publishers.. Acceptance on MB is not easy Now
  • Do yourself a favor and make sure to pick up their call. There's so many cpa networks, so if you don't get accepted to one of them you can move on to the next one.
  • Your promotional method play most important role in your approval instead of website. Maxbounty never accept any application without phone interview or IM interview. SO prepare your self with best promotional plan.

    All the best.

    • Phone interview actually. IM interview isn't sufficient.
  • Nice Necessary .

If you persuade them on how to drive traffic to your CPA offers , it doesn't necessary need to have website . They need to exactly know on how to promote the CPA offers .
  • just sign up without a website if you don't have them, and then call and tell them how you promote offers, what your plans are for offers on their network etc etc.
  • The best thing you can EVER do i simply, be honest. I've heard great things about Maxbounty. They have been around for quite some time and they have alot of experience under their belt. If you have not applied yet then just do so. Try to get ahold of them once your application is submitted and just explain to them exactly how your going to be running their offers i.e search, display etc. Best of luck. Also OP, what niche/vertical(s) are you interested in?
