PPV and PPC Secrets

Hi guys,

I just read an eBook about PPV by Gauher Chaudhry. It was really interesting and easy to follow.

I am thinking of buying his Pay Per View Formula 3.0. Anyone heard about this author? Is he good? Also what is the difference between PPC and PPV. I notice that lots of gurus are using PPC instead of PPV.

    PPC = Pay per click, so you pay everytime a person clicks on your ad
    PPV = Pay per view, so you pay everyime a person views your ad

    PPC is supposedly 'harder' and PPV is supposedly better for starting out with

    I already have the ppv course from Gauher, I think it was $27 or $37...yes he's teaching ppc and ppv (I would say an overview), plus banners, plenty of fish, social sites...not a bad course for the money!

    Honestly.. I found his first series (ppv formula, and ppc formula) ahead of their time, however the second series (ppv formula 2, ppc formula 2) wasn't really ahead of the time, they just kept up with the industry standards.. In my opinion there are several other places to learn for much cheaper, but that's just my opinion

    Gauher is a good guy. Read the free stuff on his site and you'll learn plenty, know enough to try PPV and understand if it's likely to be a good fit for you.

    You have to go on by yourself. Start testing stuff and you should find a successful campaign. Of course, you'll lose money along the way, but I wouldn't really call is a lost, it's actually called a cost.

            Hi Totoro,

            In my opinion, I find it better to start out with PPC. The reason being is that because you have a far bigger reach with PPC traffic than you ever will with PPV. PPV exposure is limited to maybe a 100 million people, whereas with PPC you reach a much bigger audience.

            There are about 10x more PPC networks than PPV networks to buy traffic from so you have a bigger market of networks to choose from. Most of these PPC networks let you get started for as little as $5.

              I agree with Gauher. The ppv world is a much smaller one and if you think about it, at a bid of $0.01 per impression you're paying a CPM of $10. (1,000 impressions x $0.01 per impression). Granted in the ppv world it's not technically an impression but it's a more intrusive pop up, pop over or whatever type of pop you want to call it.

              That's not cheap at all.

              Most would not pay that for a media buy ever, unless they had a tested sales funnel in place that they knew converted.
