How can A CPA network find out that I'm promoting offline??

Hey guys, I would like to start promoting a CPA offer using offline advertising but the offer says web traffic only. If I went offline, how would the network know? I would still be directing the traffic to there landing page.

Thanks in advance for the help

Sorry, I don't understand - what would be offline traffic then and why should network ban someone who make too much money?

They only care about the advertisers - they have no problem stealing from affiliates.

If it looks like they might have to actually pay you up to 50% of what they made (They get paid $3.00 per lead, for example, and $50 per sale. If you get 20+ leads in a day at $1.50 per lead that you generate but no sales, they'll skim half of them leaving you with 10 leads, then they'll accuse you of poor traffic even though they made $45 off your work - if they're generous. They might skim up to 75%-90% of your leads which would leave you with $3 while they keep the other $57).
Oh, you mean shaving... Yes, they do that... But why should they ban anyone who make them money? They'll just shave him.

If the offer says NO OFFLINE, then don't do it man, just don't do it. They say it for one reason. Offline traffic for that particular offer won't benefit the advertiser. You want to make money sending bad traffic? That's bad.

Just be careful, you might come crying later on here for not getting 'your' payments.

If you are sending them directly to their landing page, then it is typed in traffic and this may raise suspicions to the origins of the traffic.

If you have a blog or website that you are promoting offline and the visitors click a link on your webpage that leads to the CPA network's landing page, then this should presumably satisfy their definition of web traffic.

But the best option is to ask your Affiliate Manager first if this kind of traffic is allowed. If not then change the offer or CPA network. There is no point putting effort into something that may get you banned or not paid.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I might just pick a new offer to promote offline. I don't want to get banned or pay for advertising and not profit from it.

Does anyone know any good offers to promote offline??

Asking out your AM will not hurt and may save you from many troubles. But if the offer doesn't allow offline traffic then create a landing page and drive traffic to it. Always keep yourself low profile and you can do the marketing easily.

If all of your leads are coming from the same area, they are going to likely know it's coming from offline - why not just reach out to your AM and ensure you are promoting your offers within the TOS so you get paid.

Everyone just ignore 719x. He's upset about 1 negative experience with 1 network. There is no need to bash the entire industry with false statements and incorrect "facts".

This is exactly how, The Ip address where the traffic comes from is the narc in this situation,

If i see someone with 62 leads and 58 are from San Diego then they are either Offline advertising or Fraud, Needless to say it will get investigated every time.

As stated offline is acceptable on some offers as Chris said just make sure the offer accepts it before doing it and do not do anything else that will raise suspicion like blocking the refer, because having all your leads from the same ip block will already have your account flagged so don't give them a reason to take your money by doing anything else that would be shady.
