My small success with 7search

Hello guys,

I had a lot of attempts before with 7 search and followed a lot of advices and I failed a lot and then I started to get conversion but my problem was, what I gain is the same as what I spend. so, I got disappointed and stopped 7 search.

I had to mistakes at that time I didn't track my clicks and I didn't block The bad source of traffic.

Yesterday, I remembered that I had 20 dollar in my account on 7 search, that I didn't use since last year . I decided to give it another try

result was very good

Clicks : 56
CPC : 0.02
cost : 1.21

I got 3 conversions : 3 * 1.30 = 3.90

So, I have got more that the double. I hope my new campaign will keep working the same way when I spend more.

I'm posting this for new affiliate to inspire them and not to get disappointed like me.

Here is a very good thread by Mahmoud Selman that will help a lot.

I'd never even heard of 7 search before I read this thread. I've have used Adwords for previous sites for years and found costs to be constantly increasing. Is 7 search just a cheaper version of Adwords and I take it you just get much fewer ad impressions on content sites than Adwords from an advertiser point of view.

Hey there, we're the oldest and largest privately owned search engine on the marketing. We've been around since 1998. Currently, we generate over 2.5 billion searches per month. I would be glad to share a phone call with you or send you some additional information via email.

At your convenience please shoot me an email to bstanley at 7search dot com.

        Thanks,
        Brad

Congratulations Ahmed on your results. 7search is a good place to start with. You may be get disappointed at the beginning because you were in lack of tracking and optimization.

With more testing (Testing more headings, Ad copies and more targeted keywords) you will be able to get good results.

Tracking202 is a good free tracking solution. As you can't make it without tracking.

Removing subids is not enough to maximize your results. Tracking202 will provide you with referers reports where you can get the domain names who sent the traffic and after some campaigns you will be able to make a list of bad traffic partners from the domain names and you should block them.

For more optimization with 7search you should take care of keyword matching (Always stay away from broad match) phrase match is more targeted and you can also take advantage of the negative keywords feature where you can remove the untargeted keywords or key phrases from your campaign after you have gathered the keyword reports from your 7search dashboard.

Don't let the campaign run anymore after the conversion rate has decreased less than what you get right now because you will not be able to get a profitable campaign as you should put a rule for an acceptable ROI for you and always remember that Email/Zip submits offers being scrubbed / shaved heavily specially with such a traffic (I don't have any thing against 7search, but it's for clarification purpose).
After you have mastered 7search after some campaigns and some optimization i recommend you to move to another traffic source if you want to make real money and big +ve ROI as 7search doesn't have enough volume to scale your campaigns. May be you can learn PPV or Facebook Ads to provide you with high steady income in short time.

    I hope that helps.

How do you scale. Does that mean spend more money at 7 search?

It means to find more campaigns that convert well, so it is simply putting in more money where you know you will make money.

        I hope that helps.

    Nice results!

My first ad campaigns that I ran failed, but I learned to make them better and can run pretty good ad campaigns now with Facebook and Adwords. I haven't used 7search yet, but from all the good things people on here are saying about it I might check it out.
