Changes to MaxBounty affiliate approval requirements

MaxBounty has decided to re-evaluate our affiliate application and approval process. Over the years, so many affiliates were either rejected because they didn't have a website of their own, or felt they needed to build a website just for our application. Ultimately they were either still rejected because it was apparent that the website wasn't "real" or ended up never sending traffic from that site anyway. Because of this, we've decided to drop the requirement of owning a website for approval to our network.

This opens the door for the growing percentage of affiliates who make their mark in affiliate marketing solely by buying traffic from third parties.

We are unfortunately not able to re-review old applications but welcome previously rejected affiliates to re-apply. Applicants are still required to speak with an affiliate manager on the phone prior to approval.

    This makes perfect sense too. I never understood why cpa networks required websites, when some people send traffic via email or other means, that don't utilize a website..

      Side effect of being the most stable CPA network in the industry is that we're also one of the oldest. Our application process was 8 years old! That goes back to before Facebook ads, before PPV, I think even before Google Ads.

      So yeah... about time we updated our policy.

    Hey JP,

    If I got rejected in past and I got no response from the denied approval message andd my calls were always sent to voice mail box.

    How can I re-submit my application?

      We did make some exceptions in the past but the application forced an affiliate to enter a URL and if they entered one we didnt like, it potentially gave us a reason to reject, especially if the affiliate wasn't proactive and waited for our call instead of calling us himself.

      Now that problem has been eliminated, though affiliates still have to call. Not being able to reach an affiliate on the phone is our most common reason for rejecting applicants.
