I'm still a beginner when it comes to driving paid traffic to CPA offers. I spent the past weeks learning and reading and I'm ready to start implementing.

I have a budget of about a $1000 but I'm not sure where to start.

I heard that Microsoft Adcenter and Facebook are both good for beginners, So which one do you recommend?

Before you do Facebook ads you might want to read this short article I ran across this morning. If what these people found is any reflection to what goes on across the board, your $1000 budget may only buy you $200 in ads.

These folks did some work to investigate where the money they were paying for Facebook ads were going and the outcome is pretty shocking. Here's the article if you'd like to read it.

  These are two very different animals we're dealing with. Adcenter is a keyword based search engine type PPC platform with a content network available. Facebook is totally different and has to be treated totally different.
  
  I would suggest learning first on cheaper traffic sources before moving to those.

  Not exactly sure those two are a place to start for a beginner. In all honesty why not try adwords right out if your going to pick one. Just do your research and don't go in blind and you'll learn pretty quick mate.
