Promoting CPA offer in low budget

Can some CPA experts highlight what would be the best route for a newbie to go about while promoting CPA offers through PPV networks? Like would it be considered safer to promote "lead" products than "sale" products?

Thanks

"Lead" offers are a lot easier to convert directly from PPV traffic, BUT... why not use that traffic to generate your own leads and then push the higher paying "sale" offers to them Think outside the box and bank HARD bro!

Don't use PPV if you are in low budget. Try PPC with 2nd tier advertising networks instead.
Start with lead generation first then move to sales when you have more experience.

Can you please share any name to be specific other than 7 search, with your personal experiences!

      Thanks in advance

    Lead offers converts better.
PPC over PPV, (Try 7search, to be exact).

    Not to be controversial.
I have had better luck with PPV then with 7Search.

Look into LeadImpact, there is always a limited amount of Keywords that you can use for Ipad or free offers. Especially if all the 'experts' tell the 'newbs' too use it.

I found 7Search to be horrible quality. If you do use it, just look at the websites that the traffic comes from. I actually got a virus on my computer from one of the sites I visited.

With PPV you know exactly where you ads are being displayed and to who.

    Hi guys, I need help...
Can U explain me what is PPV and how does it work? What do I need, if I want to promote affiliate or CPA offers with this method ...
Which is better PPC or PPV?
I have affiliate site for "clickbank.com" product...
1st I tried with back-links, soon I have no results...
Second I tried something like PPC but , I have got only people who are writing comments on my web site(for backlink purpose)...
Two months later I have signed in one of the biggest CPA network, there I have found a lot of offers to promote.
Here I am reading, that if I choose "PAY per LEAD" type of offers it will be more easy to get some income .....
1.Reading this forum I found that 1st if I want to promote CPA offers I have to create, a web site for each of my offers.
2.After that I have to choose PPC or PPV type of advertising method ...
I have read a lot of things about PPC=pay per click =>... i have to make a keyword research(to find buying-keywords), and than to choose google adward or yahoo or any other PPC service)...
I did not find almost anything about PPV:How does it work?/What do I need?/Which is the best method ? etc...
Can anybody explain me about PPV and PPC ..... I will be very thankful ....

You should go and get some info and consider paying for it. Try Gauher Chaudry's blog to start with.

You can waste a lot of money with PPV - it is lucrative only if you know what you are doing. Start with PPC as advised above.

The best place to start is a second tier network like Looksmart or 7search. These places give you the opportunity to test campaigns and learn a few things. Once you know PPC well then you can migrate to PPV.

This is just my own opinoon. Say I had $25 to spare. I would put that cash in 7search and try to get a good campaign going. I would track it with prosper202 on my own hosted server and keep track of the converting keywords.

My advice would be get a bunch of keywords and make them 1 cent clciks. Keep track of the ones that convert via tracking tools either self hosted or in the back end of your affiliate network.

The best advice i can give to you is to test, test, test. Some traffic sources convert better for certain types of offers. You just have to pick a few offers and test them and then adjust them to see what works.

yeah dude if you're starting out really small and money is an issue...then it can be tough to get successful...because you really need to gather a bunch of data to examine and then filter out the losers and keep the winners.

If you can scrape together $100, then start with some of the smaller 2nd tier search engines like 7search, traffic vance, miva etc...and test out campaigns at $50 per pop. Once you find out which offers convert, then filter and scale up. I like to use email submits ...as they require little from the person. Lead usually gets like $3 each....so ROI is decent.

Well if you have a low budget promoting "lead products" aka CPL offers is a better route.

Simply because it takes less money to test offers with lower payouts.

I'd start off by first researching some "free" methods like seo, article marketing, video marketing, facebook fan pages, etc, etc, etc..

Then find one that you want to start to learn more about and work with, then research it more exclusively and then from there see what offers would work well with it, then get started..

To answer your lead vs sale products, it really depends - i have several SEO sites around sale products, and some around lead - i find sales works better with SEO for me, however with other methods different things will work differently..

Think about it for a second ..
Which is harder to give something away or to sell it?

That is where to start .
If you are asking that question "Then stay away from PPV otherwise you are going to spend all your money with zero conversions.

You should think about the lower tier networks like 7 search .
But make sure to give you offer, landing pages, and ads enough data before you change them..

1.)Stick to one traffic source do not move on from it until you master it.
2.) You must have tracking installed or you are throwing your money away..
    TEST TEST TEST .....

    Best of luck

You guys that are saying that 7 search traffic is garbage are not setting your campaigns up right and tracking correctly ..

I have been using 7 search for almost 5 years now and I hear people saying the same thing that they cannot get conversions with 7 search.
    That's not true!
If you cannot get conversions for 5 cent clicks then you are not going to get them for $2 clicks either.
Its not the network its the person that is constructing the funnel.
I use ads on 7 search using lots of scarcity and curiosity to send to my squeeze pages and then sell from email...
You can straight kill it with this method if you do it right..

The best part you are getting super low clicks and you must control your bid at the keyword level and you can even have a different creative for each keyword..

That is huge advantage for you..
Just follow this simple formula for 7 search and you will be on your way.
1.Impressions but no clicks = Change ad
    2. Clicks no conversions = change offer
    3. no impressions =Raise Bid 1 cent

    Best of luck

Thank you for the advice ATAC. Ive been thinking about using paid traffic but i heard a lot of stories about 7search.
However, hearing from people from you, and also because of experience, makes things seem more realistic because, honestly, when it comes to the masses and their same opinions, they are usaually wrong.
it only takes 1 person to state the facts for other people to listen.

I think you should go with Leadimpact as PPV Advertisement with $300-$400 (low budget).
I used 7search with $100 but there traffic quality is terrible and i get fake click and all my $$ burns like hell.

I suggest stay away from 7search.

PPV is actually a great source of traffic to start with. Some CPA offers convert very well.

Invest $200 in Lead Impact, start some campaigns and test the hell out of them.

(Also invest in a VPS host -- Beyondhosting.net -- and install Prosper202 on it)

I love it when people say 7search traffic is crap, then say PPV traffic is better quality!

How on earth can you say that?

They both work if you know how to work them.
