I find 7search pretty cheap and it allows you to target US. But it is pretty low quality traffic.

        Hey Ryan,
I read the article from the link you posted, and it is really hard to believe.
But the news went to Forbes, and they don't use to publish rubbish.
I've been always a bit skeptical about FB results for IM, but now...
Bots???? You made some deeper research about this?
If so, let us know pls.

There is a huge problem with fraud traffic - most notably bots. I've not got experience personally (or through clients) who have bought Facebook traffic, but we've seen on even reputable networks bot traffic around 25-50%, with some smaller traffic sellers (those targeting smaller IMs) simply send 100% bot traffic.

Whilst some of the bots are more sophisticated than they used to be, many are still very simple and crude. But these sellers simply keep operating as the moment one website and paypal account is shut down they open up elsewhere.

I've not seen any issues with click fraud on Facebook. It's worked very well for me. I did notice that when I was targeting the US I would end up getting fans from other countries that I didn't want to target at times but it was not widespread.

But those people weren't bots, they were real people just living in another country. I'm not sure that was due to the PPC campaign as it could be due to people likeing/sharing the content and having friends and family abroad.

As for Forbes, they don't have very good editorial review of their content. I see tons of health related articles on Forbes which misrepresent that actual facts of what they are "citing".

Not a bad website to go too, just saying you can't trust what you read always because it's on a big brand website.

Maybe that's why I couldn't get not much opt in into my squeeze page. I got 150 clicks, only 9 opt in, and ended up spending 75 bucks.

In that case the bots i get clicking on my ads are awesome, cause they leave comments, click on ads and buy stuff.

I'll take a 200-400% ROI from bots anyday

PPV is generally hands down the cheapest.

    7Search is cheap as well.

    But clicks don't equal quality.

I start companion 2 mouth ago. and when I start and loss only 4-5$ i get sale from Clickbank. when I lose more than $100 but no sale. I think, that when new member starting make companion on 7 search, he getting high quality traffic (7 search making motivation ) and when getting bad quality traffic. maybe this is not true but this is my reality.

The only other places I pay-per-click are Google AdWords and Microsoft AdCenter. The rest of my marketing is either CPM or monthly.

I know I'm in a "where to buy the cheapest traffic" thread... but I don't buy cheap traffic. I want the best traffic, not the cheapest traffic. I'll gladly pay $5 for a click from someone looking for exactly what I sell, when I'm gonna earn over $300 a year from that person if they sign up for one of my services. I'll pay top dollar for few, but super targeted clicks, then use remarketing campaigns to show ads to those same people across the web for the next 30 days. The remarketing's remarkably cheap and effective.

That article is about most of the profiles "liking" his Facebook Page being probable bots, not clicks on ads to external sites. Facebook has no widespread click fraud problem in that sense. My conversion rates from FB ads are just fine.

Seriously Dont buy traffic , you will waste your money . If you really need relavent traffic then try facebook or google ads .

Most probably you will get coupons worth $100 or more in google to start off your ads. Buying traffic is just a waste of bandwidth, time and money .

ugh...dude you might want to re-examine your mind set here. Thinking in terms of..."Where can I get the cheapest......" you are setting yourself up for frustration and headaches.

Anyway, yeah 7search is good for email submits....but you need to track like a mo fo.

Instead, you might want to think like this..."How can I get the best, targeted leads to my offer?"... If you think in terms of cheap....then you will get cheap. And you will find that ...yeah...you get a ton of traffic for cheap on these 2nd tier search engines....but converting them into money....well you are in the cheap on that too.

So it really depends on what kind of traffic you want to get and what offer you're sending them to.

I've found PPV to zip submits works well because it is low quality traffic and low commitment data being submitted by the users.

      Try mediatraffic or trafficvance.

But IMHO, if you want to make better money, you ar ebtter off finding out exactly where most of your audience spends their time only and then target them accordingly.

If you dont know this or dont trust Quantcast.com or Alexa, do a JV with a list owner who has your audience, get them opted in to your list and then send them a short 2-3 question survey asking them where they spend their time online, etc.

Works like a charm for me....

Sorry to bother you, but could you explain a bit deeper your method?

cheap doesn't mean better.... what you meant was (without putting words into your mouth) - where can I get US traffic that converts per customer for the best price?

in truth I don't know and best way it to run numerous small test campaigns until you find out!

But what I do know is that many of the cheap traffic sources send 100% bots - which will never convert. If you PM me I'll set you up with a free account with fraud traffic detection software - it won't stop the bots but it will flag them and give you the evidence you need to get your money back!

    Hi,

I think you're asking yourself the wrong question. It shouldn't be how can I get the cheapest traffic, because the cheapest may not always be the best and quite frequently isn't.

You should be asking yourself how can I provide the best value to my target audience and what's the best way to get higher conversion rates for the traffic I do get? If you get higher conversion rates than a competitor, you can pay more for the traffic than him.

You'll get the better traffic if you do some research and are able to pay a higher price, you've beat out your competition if you are good at sales and conversion process.

lol Craigslist, its cheap, and free, if you can get your adds up, you can get major traffic, and if you pay the $25 for a major city you will get your add up and ass long as you have a good capture page you will get leads, I love Craigslist, though its frustrating sometimes with getting ads block, o well its free, which is super cheap lol.

PPV/CPV is also cheap in terms of views.

This has been a good source: www.friendora.com/clickadvantage

Their click through rate has been low but I only pay for clicks and the membership. The bid price per click has worked out to be about 1 - 2 cents each. They use an ad credit system that is a little different but pretty easy to get the hang of. The clicks are real and overall has been the best source of cheep traffic for me.

I have tried other mass traffic sites like revisitors etc., it always seems to work out to be a wast of time and money. With them, I seem to get a bunch of traffic that must be from a bot, because not one out of 10,000+ hits seem to move anywhere else on my site.

Hope this helps. If anyone has any other good sources of traffic please let me know.

    Thank you!

No it's not. Buying links to your website is against Google's policies. Thousands of businesses buy traffic directly from Google... it's this little-known service called Google Adwords.

This has nothing to do with buying links. The AdSense agreements include many restrictions on what kind of traffic you can and can't buy. These policies can even be applied to purchasing traffic from Google AdWords for the purpose of arbitrage; they leave a lot of discretion in Google's hands.

        • Be promoted through unsolicited mass emails or unwanted advertisements on third-party websites.
        • Display Google ads, search boxes or search results as a result of the actions of software applications such as toolbars.

        • Receive traffic from online advertising unless the site complies with the spirit of Google's Landing Page Quality Guidelines. For instance, users should easily be able to find what your ad promises.
If those didn't open up enough ways for Google to ban an account that buys traffic they don't like for pretty much any reason, they threw in this nice vague one as well.

With the cheapest "buy website traffic" sites selling either autosurf, traffic exchange or a mix of popup and bot traffic, you can very easily lose an AdSense account for buying it. You often don't know exactly what you're buying until it's too late too.

Don't buy traffic from anywhere. There are thousand of reasons to not buy traffic. I just listed most important from them.

    1. This kind of visitors will stay 10-30 second in your site.
    2. Most of Ad network don't allow traffic buying.
    3. It will harm your PR

You can use aurora sites such as mediaclickads.com and/or cashcamel.net that sell about 1000 visitors for as cheap as 0.25$.
That's the cheapest rate I know in the PTC industry if not buying large quantities.. Try first and then see if you want to buy click packages. BTW, don't buy banner impressions or autosurfers. They are the cheapest but do not guarantee the human click. If I'm not mistaken you can choose to buy traffic only from specific countries (i.e: US)

If you send your PPC traffic to your own landing page first, it's easy to see who the best performers are. For example one network might send 200 clicks to your LP and only 5 continue to the CPA offer page. Another might send only 50 clicks for the same CTR.

It all comes down to the cost, and which clicks are converting and earning you money!

Probably facebook or PPV networks such as trafficvance. But cheapest doesnt always mean it will convert, as you generally always get exactly what you pay for. I'd favour Adwords and BING as the quality is a lot higher

I use solo ads from trusted vendors. There are solo ad review groups on Facebook that let you know who the quality vendors are. Building is a list and warming them up with value such as blogs, videos, articles, etc and alternating with offers works well for me. Click bank has many JV affiliate pages with done for you and tested emails that convert really really well. Most simple way I have found for my newbie students to duplicate my results. Hope that helps!

RTB DSPs provide access to ad inventory on 98% of major websites via 30+ ad exchanges.

With a little digging you can find 10 cent CPMs on well-known websites (see screenshot).

I rarely pay more than $1 CPM for high-quality geotargeted impressions ($2 CPM with Big Data audience targeting and retargeting).

Facebook is pretty decent and cheap, just keep an eye out for quality as you could get merchant complaints if you are running high-paying CPL offers. Apart from that Adwords and BING are your best bet - although they aren't cheap the quality is excellent.

Most of the traffic you see for sale, is considered to be very low quality traffic. The cost for this kind of traffic ranges from $5 to $15 for 10,000 visitors and $25- $90 for 50,000 visitors. With such low prices you can estimate that the quality of this traffic would be poor.
