My Adf.Ly + CPA Experiment With A Twist

Hello guys!

I'm currently testing an incentive CPA campaign with Adf.ly advertising. I'm doing it with a landing page (which may attract visitors before they click the Skip Ad button), and my CPA offer link was just cloaked with domain redirect feature on my cPanel. I know that some of you may think this will not convert for CPA offers, but I do believe it will once there was a twist. As what I have read about the threads and comments about this method, I just decided creating a unique twist for myself, and I'm going for it.

I just spent $5 for 1k USA views, and I'm already aware of their rules. This is just a test anyway to know if my own twist will work or not, a little amount to risk.

    FYI most of this traffic is junk, fake bots, free-bee seekers, people in countries that will never buy like India, eastern EU, Brazil, China. This does not rule them out for cpa though. I was pushing biz op deals.

    A year ago I spent over $400 and built a list of 15,000 people in a matter of weeks. My squeeze page converted at high 44% and I was getting 700 optin per day with one field email submit, no double optin. I used 50% USA traffic and 50% rest of the world.

    95% of the subscribers never opened the second email followup and couldn't even cover my Aweber fees so I downloaded the list and deleted them from Aweber saving me $150pm.

    So based on my experience, it was a flop for me,

      Are those people in your list responsive coming from Adf.ly? I might also try this on my own squeeze page. As for CPA, I am just testing my own attractive twist to see if it works or not. No matter what happens, it's only a small amount that I risk to test on. And of course this is a freebie and will convert on the first page email submit.

      In my previous test using the cheap proxy traffic on Adf.ly, I only got around 80 opt-ins out of 15k proxy visitors. I might try this on my squeeze page later on with the US traffic.

        Yeah all from Crapfly

        I tested about 40 splash pages and about 10 offers.

        Couldn't get it to work, but I gained alot of knowledge on how to make high converting splash pages so not all was lost.

    I agree todawg_not, Adf.ly does seem like a lot of junk traffic.

    But I've never tried them myself, so I won't be too quick to judge.

    Please share you results. I'd defiantly like to see them Thanks.

    We'll, I think you're right. For my update, I got 1609 banner image impressions, 27 clicks and no conversions. It seems that my twist won't work after all, but at least I tried for a small amount.

    Hahaha! We'll, I guess I'll throw Adf.ly to my own garbage can.

      definitely you played the wrong way. When it comes to Adf.ly or such a service, then it means interstitial Ads not banner ads as you have tested.

      It doesn't make sense to place banner ads on a completely blind network based on download url shortening service.

      You should test       interstitial which is a kind of PPV traffic and i recommend using it with generic international download offers if you aren't good with making good landing pages or just building a list.

      I believe that Non US or Europe offers are going to convert with their traffic specially general download offers for softwares which have a large audience base.


      Just make sure to get international offers rather that the countries mentioned in the previous comments and test everything yourself and don't judge any traffic source according to reviews or testimonials.

      Quality traffic is targeted traffic. So, you folks shouldn't call un targeted traffic junk traffic as they don't claim the traffic is targeted.

      They sell what they claim.

      Iam not affiliated with them or something like that but i have got many conversions from international download offers with them.
