Hi,

What is the average CTR for adwords? Is traffic estimator accurate? Can you please share your best CTRs and any tips.

They vary a ton a I've had success at 2% to as high as 25%.

Here are some CTR tips:

- Always be split testing new ads.

- Use tight knit keyword groups. To make the ads more targeted for the keywords.

- Turn off mobile phones under the settings.

- Add "Free" to your negative keywords.

- Make sure your country targeting is correct.

- Turn off ads on weekends or at night. (Depending on niche)

- Look at competing ads.

- Use a question mark, colon, & symbol, in the ad title to draw attention.

- Test crazy ad titles.

  Not my conversions, but CTR. This is because I keep Ads/keywords extremely targeted.
  
  The traffic to the keyword was also very low.
  
  But it is all relative! In the end it is the conversions, not CTR that matters.

TARGET TARGET TARGET!

Break your keywords up as much as possible so you can write ads specifically for those certain keywords and the people searching for them..

The more you know your audience the better..
