Is outsourcing banner ad creation better or worse?

I have been in pursuit of creating my own banner. I have just gotten a solid image editing software and now I feel I am set to create but still have issues.

1) Is it better to outsource? (on a small budget. cause that's what I have )

2) My creative ability may not be as good. Making a banner from scratch isn't my strength. Are decent/average looking banners accepted or is A+++ banners only?

My first issue speaks for itself. Is outsourcing this task good or bad in my situation. Should I just seek a freelancer.

My second issue is more complicated. I am not a pro at banner creation but can make a decent banner I believe. I have also asked affiliate managers at peerfly if it is ok to take snippets/screenshots from the actual CPA offer to implement into my banner. I haven't got a response but its cool. They are obviously busy. I just want the theme of the offer and the banner match. With my lesser banner creation skills I might not be able to do that from scratch this is why I want to take snippets of the actual offer. Has anyone done this when creating their own banner?

Thanks again for the help

But I am willing to settle with an Oprah Winfrey type banner. Not so pretty but gets lots of money :p

Making banners is not difficult if you have the idea of what you want.

It begin by writing the name or business model the banner is going to be all about and then adding call to action words, related images and then making it eye catchy.

I do have an idea of what I want to do but don't know if it's ok to do. I contacted my affiliate manager but haven't gotten a response. I want to take snippets of the CPA offer with a snipping tool and make a banner with the snippets. If you don't understand please check my other thread explaining this.

I am very thankful for all the advice but I am in need of an answer for one question in particular. I will take all this advice to heart but I really need to know if I can use a snipping tool to cut bits and pieces of an actual CPA offer and put my cut pieces back together to make a CPA banner. Can I make my CPA banner from "sampling" the original CPA offer page?

I do appreciate the help but if someone could help me with this dilemma I have all my questions and concerns with CPA up to this point would be answered.

Better yet does anyone know how to contact that Luke peerfly guy. It's his network that I am working with. Could someone tell me where to find him.

THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE HELP

I have found that if you email copywriters some will be able to create banner ads..I asked if he could guarnatee some kind of CTR or I dont pay. He guarantees at least a 3% CTR or my money back...SO yes outsource it.

It shouldn't be a problem if you want to use a graphic from the advertiser landing page to create your banner as long as you are not being misleading with any of the copy on your banner. Your best bet is to email it to me or Corey for approval.

I haven't outsourced any banner work on Fiverr, but it looks like there are some good gigs:
Fiverr / Search results for 'banner'

Thanks Luke for clearing this dilemma up for me. I will email my banner when ready. I'm guessing I should use the email on peerfly site. Thanks again everyone for the help. It is much appreciated.

Not all offers have banner creatives and it's always a good idea to split test with your own banners

Definitely depends on your Time Budget as well as your Financial Budget.

If it will take you 2 hours to get a single banner done, chances are you should outsource it and move on to more profitable activities.

Dude. Just do a Green background banner. Then a headline, subheadline, with a call to action. That's it. What's so hard in creating banners?

I won't say mine works the best. Thing is, NO ONE KNOWS.

What works the best is when you start tracking. Or should i say, when you stop asking around and spend that time to create your ugly banners!

Lol. As i said, Paint is a GREAT tool. it's free too. Go crankin!

If you have the design skills and you already have a fix idea about what you want then I think you don't need to outsource anymore. But if you are not confident with your skills or the design, you can outsource it anyway.

Got the time, then try designing different banners. But if not, it means you've got the money to outsource it, which will save you time.
