Prosper 202 & Neverblue

OK so I am a complete noob when it comes to Prosper 202.

I have set it up and it seemed fairly simple, but I wanted to run through the process here to make sure I had done it correctly and to clarify a couple of things.

I uploaded Prosper 202 to a domain of mine, on a server and created an account e.t.c

When it came to setting up the campaign the only thing I used from Neverblue were the landing page links with a sub ID for each campaign.

I added this to the Prosper202 campaign and then this chucked out a tracking link which was similar to below:

http://tracking.domain.co.uk/trackin...id=521&t202kw=[keyword]

I used [keyword] for Traffic Vance.

Now, I am seeing clicks, no conversions yet but my clicks in TV don't match my clicks in Neverblue by about 30% is this unusual?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If anyone ever needs help with Coremetrics, Omniture, Tagman or any other tracking systems similar to these let me know I have huge amounts of experience there.

Something you should do is update you links so you are passing along the [[subid]] variable. Then what you can do is look at the tracking id report in neverblue and compare it to the visitors report in prosper202. You'll be able to see which visitors they aren't tracking and maybe you will see a reason why (i.e. maybe they all had the same IP and NB is filtering them out? You will see that in the visitors report, etc).

EDIT: I'll show you an example, gimmie a min to get the images.

Here's an example of what I said to do.

    Step One: Campaign Setup

Pass along the [[subid]] variable into your affiliate link (where you are sending the traffic to). Every network lets you pass along subids (or tracking ids as some call it - basically a variable that you can put on your traffic to help with reporting).

    Step Two: Visitors Report

Once you have the link setup and working and have traffic coming into Prosper202, you can click on the Visitors tab and get a report of your traffic, here is an example of a campaign I am testing on one of my ad servers:

Each unique visitors in Prosper202 gets a unique ID called subid (the first column in this report).

    Step Three: Compare to Neverblue

I don't promote neverblue, so I had to pull this report from the network I'm testing it on. But they should be able to give you a report that looks something like this:

What this information shows me is that visitors 356 - 359 came into that ad server today, what their ip address is, where domain their originated on before clicking my ad, their browser and operating system, what keyword was assigned to them (if applicable), and what offer/landing page they got sent to.

On the network end, I can see each of those 4 visitors from today based on their subid and which of them converted. If, for example, 357 was missing from the list, I would know that I sent the network 4 visitors but they are only reporting 3 and then I could contact them or do some troubleshooting on my own to see what happened after they left my ad server redirect.

And I can guarantee Neverblue offers this feature, you just have to find it and use it. Every network I do business with allows you to pass along sub/tracking ids for this kind of detail reporting/analysis. If you are on a network that doesn't let you do it, you are with the wrong network.
