I would like to suggest that you should be using Facebook, Youtube, niche forums and other social media sites that has lots of activity from their respective members. Facebook is a good source for you to start. Just create a fan page for your niche, add Static HTML for you to input a viral HTML landing page or app with your Clickbank link or banner, and share it to various friends, fans and groups.

Youtube is also a goldmine. You can simply create a video and upload it to your own account. But make sure that before you start video marketing, you need to do keyword research to analyze some competition and monthly search results. After that, optimize your video with targeted keywords and BOOM!!! You got TRAFFIC!

To increase website traffic its not easy. within a day you cannot increase your website traffic. Your should take some steps for this:

Ever heard of 'seo techniques'? Well they include guest blogging, blog commenting, social bookmarking, social media marketing, forum posting, article marketing, quality website contents. In summary its a technique that helps to build backlinks and increase traffic.

There is a basic SEO rule: content should only be available via a single URL on your website. There are some legitimate reasons to break that rule. If that happens, you need to take additional action such as use the canonical tag to identify the primary page.
Your home page situation is NOT a legitimate reason to break that rule. It's poor web design. It needs to be fixed. OSE is doing its job correctly. OSE is calling your attention to a SEO issue which requires your attention.
SOLUTION: Remove all references to the /index.php page on your site and replace them with the / page. Also add a 301 redirect from the index.php page to the / page so anyone who bookmarked or linked to the /index.php page is seamlessly taken to your home page.

The secret to ranking well on search engines is backlinking. What are backlinks? Basically backlinks are links from websites which lead to your website. The more links that point to your site the more valuable the information on your site is considered. Links from sites with a higher ranks are considered more valuable. The anchor text from these links is what helps determine the key words for your website. (Anchor text is the clickable part of a link.)

How to do it

Backlinking is actually fairly easy. However it is very time consuming. I don't suggest doing a ton of backlinking. I think that 3-5 backlinks a day is a good goal. It also makes it look like the links developed organically. 1000 backlinks to your site 3 days after it launches isn't very believable.

Now what you want to do is create some articles with some decent original content that are 500 words. They will then be put on webpages that all have a link pointing to the site you are creating backlinks for. The sites I build these pages on fall into three categories:

Article Directories
New Blogs
Social Media, Bookmarking and Web 2.0

Now before you start doing this, it is important to remember the web address of all these sites you make, as you will require them later.

First I suggest writing 3 unique articles and submitting them to a few of these article directories.

I especially like GoArticles because your article is approved immediately. You could use an Article Spinner to make one article into multiple unique ones, but I don't like this practice. I think the best way to build traffic is by publishing content people will actually read.

A tool I really like is Article Submission Helper. It is absolutely free. It is kind of outdated and clunky, but it helps save a ton of time. It allows you to mass publish articles.

1) Submit your links to classifieds like: craiglist.org, ebayclassifieds.com
2) Get backlinks from good sites.
3) Create a good social networking profile and engage with users as much as you can.
4) Use twitter, search for people talking about your niche and send replies with your site link (but make sure that you don't overdo it because you might get flagged as spam)

Increase traffic is not so tough, however, increase quality traffic is quite tough. As you know that it's a lazy process and takes time, so you need to be a bit patient while keep continuous efforts. Being a website promoter you should not shortlist the ways to bring traffic, but sure you can give priorities to them. I would suggest you to focus more on social media sites and forums for traffic. For ranking, you should concentrate more on quality do follow links. If you are in B2B business then linkedIn and forums are best, and if you are in B2C business then Facebook, Twitter and forums are best.
