Noobish Question about Ads..

My CPA network wants me to send them my creatives for approval to promote an offer.

By creatives, do they mean my ad copy, picture, or both?

I know this is very noobish, but a Google search didn't really answer my question. And I didn't want to sound like a noob when contacting my AM.

Thanks.

Well it can mean both. If the offer is display only then pretty much just the banner. Otherwise, you are sending them the headline / ad text / banner / image you are going to use to promote a certain offer.

Ask you affiliate manager what they want specifically, and just send that.

No need to expose extra details of your campaign.

This is what I was worried about.

But the specific offer in question can only be promoted on one traffic source, which requires a picture.

So I just sent my AM all my ad copy variations, and a .zip with all the pictures I'd be testing with.

If I did in fact go overboard, he'll probably be very pleased with everything I sent. :p

Thanks for all the help guys; I really appreciate it.

A lot of more sensitive verticals and advertisers are going to ask to review all creative. There's a lot of trouble people can get into for taking traffic for things with false claims and lies on them. So I think it's quite common for your network to ask you to approve all creatives before running an offers.

I think, they need some of your past sample works. Provide them if you have. It could be your ad copy or it could be your picture.
