With PPC the clicker is clicking on your ad because they are interested in its subject matter - you have a potential customer

With PPV the viewer is looking purely because they want to be paid. They have no interest in your site - you don't have a potential customer.

I highly recommend Pay Per View by Gauher Chaudhry. He does an excellent job explaining CPV and overdelivers on his programs.

Naturally, the key is also to take massive action.
