Leadimpact is a good choice to start with ppv and about pof it is a social dating site and they have their own advertising platform using which you can advertise on that website

Why can I never get any traction or make Lead Impact cost effective. I kill it with Traffic Vance but cant get anywhere with Lead Impact. What is the difference between the two really?

IMO trafficvance is the best for ppv traffic.

If your starting out then I'd suggest looking at LeadImpact.

NOt to highjack a thread but if you have an offer that pays, say $1.80 a lead, how much would you spend (or how many views at 2cents a view) would you want to have before you determine if the offer is viable or not? If I have 200 views ($4 spent) and no conversions, I have been disabling the keyword but I was wondering if that was really enough to know.

I will start promoting with LeadImpact.

There are so many of them but i would suggest first leadimpact. I also suggest media traffic although their approval process isn't really comforting.

leadimpace has worked wonders for me but trafficvance is the king.

Its a $1000 Deposit to get into TrafficVance but you are NOT required to spend the $1000!

Just to throw in my 2cents..

Most of the networks and traffic sources mentioned here are CONTEXTUAL PPV networks... be careful to throw around the terms CPV/PPV/Interstitial/etc. By contextual, you can target by true URL, a keyword, category or RON. The URL capturing for true CPV is often flagged as adware and is the struggle for these companies to keep providing quality traffic. TV is one of the few?(maybe only, haven't checked recently) companies with a Truste approved ad engine and downloads.

LI, ADon, DirectCPV, TrafficVance (the Contextual PPV networks mentioned) are networks(meaning they have mixed traffic, even Trafficvance is a "network"). Each of these companies has their own downloadable assets or partners with downloads and they serve ads on their userbase of downloads.

Trafficvance for example is primarily a gaming network, so the userbase initially (yes a child can download software and the parent can use the PC at night), is social gaming. My point, it helps to know the downloadable asset to judge the user base for your campaigns, if the company will reveal what the downloadable asset is, some will, some will not.

Contextual PPV/CPV networks also put out releases or have different internal networks and different SUBID's. For example, if I am a CPV network(I guess in truth I am one myself), and I have a downloadable FLV utility/player, and a social game, each asset would be different audiences and different SUBID/SID/traffic sources with each platform. If you are able to track these SID's and work with an account manager you can remove bad performing SUBID's, which in turn maybe download users that are not converting because the audience is different on that downloadable asset or SUBID.

I don't have any personal feedback for POF, except I think when you work for them you are required to wear black thick rimmed glasses(with or without a prescrition, or lenses in the frames even), their blue POF shirts and skinny jeans.
