Your MaxBounty account has been terminated
Unfortunately to this day I have not received a single reply to any phone calls, emails or private messages to Steve or Maxbounty's Compliance, even though I have/had been an affiliate for close to 6 years (every single email from Maxbounty is whitelisted and have not failed to receive an email in the close to six years I have/had been with Maxbounty, neither have I failed to receive previous email conversations I have had with Steve, so this is not a case that I was replied to and it went into a spam folder, there was simply no reply).
On the 29th of June when I received this email that my account had been terminated for fraud, my affiliate manager had phoned me up looking for me to promote a couple of offers; as she had phoned me the last several months albeit the last two months the phone calls have been more frequent (as is usually the case for no other reason other than my revenue had been increasing with each week). These two offers I had asked her about several months previously, one required a zip submit, and the other more information for the lead, for the last few months I had told her about 3 offers including the offer with the zip submit that I would prefer promoting, however she had refused to grant me access to the zip submit offer asking that I scale up my current offers before she would open it to me, and on this occasion when she phoned; I was busy and asked her to send me an email instead (she had also phoned the previous day too but again I was busy and asked her to phone later), in the email she stated she was going to see about opening the two offers we had been discussing for the last few months, but wanted to start off with the other offer as opposed to the zip submit offer, I replied to her email that I would rather try out the zip submit offer first, for the last few months we have been going around in circles; her wanting me to scale up traffic on other offers before she opened up this particular zip submit offer and the other offers I had asked her, and me telling her that I had already tried out some of these other offers she would like me to scale up, and they didn't convert well, seeing that she only granted me only one offer at a time if at all, out of the private offers I ask her to open for me, I told her that I would rather have the zip submit offer if only one offer was going to be granted to me. A couple of hours after sending my reply to her email I received the email that my account had been terminated for fraud.
The only other incident that I can point to as circumspect that could possibly relate to my account termination; is about 2 months before my account termination I received a frantic phone call from my Affiliate Manager asking that one of my Twitter accounts be removed as it could lead to legal action for me, as she said it led to a web page that was pretending to represent Deal Chicken, I found this a little odd as the Twitter handle simply had the name dealchicken1 and led to one of my web pages which had a call to action to sign up to my newsletter promoting the very offer from Deal Chicken Maxbounty was offering, nevertheless I removed the Twitter account as my Affiliate Manager asked, and changed all mention of "Daily Deals and coupons from Deal Chicken" to "Daily Deals and coupons from the likes of Deal Chicken", my Affiliate Manager did not ask me to do anything else other than to remove the Twitter account which she was content with, and I assumed that the name in the handle was what the issue was, so I created another Twitter account with no mention whatsoever of Deal Chicken in the Twitter handle, and again pointed it to my web page promoting my newsletter with a call to action to the Deal Chicken offer Maxbounty as promoting. I received no phone calls regarding this or any other issues other than suggestions on offers to promote, if this was the issue for my account termination, one simple email and I would have simply removed the entire page and the other Twitter account. I mention these incidents over the disagreement with which offers to promote, and the promotion of Deal Chicken as these are the only relevant incidents, and the timing that could have accounted for my account termination; to my recollection I never did receive a single lead from the Deal Chicken offer Maxbounty was promoting (not even a case of where I received leads and they were scrubbed, I did not receive a single lead from this offer) so I am hard pressed to see any fraud. I would like Steve to respond with evidence as to the termination of my account for fraud.
As I said, at no point in the close to six years I have been with Maxbounty have I ever paid anybody to complete offers, filled out offers myself, or bought traffic to any affiliate offer, every single one of the leads I have obtained over the close to 6 years I have been with Maxbounty have been obtained organically, and I have a year's worth of logs to show where every lead came from going back a year, even from my mailing list despite sending more than one offer each week, it is extremely rare for the same IP address to sign up to more than one offer.
I am disappointed that the moment Maxbounty decides to terminate your account, all correspondence with said affiliate ceases, to this day Steve has never responded to a single email, phone call or private message I have sent him, this is no way to treat any affiliate especially one that has been with Maxbounty for close to 6 years and is absolutely certain with the detailed logs that I have kept; able to show with almost certainty once provided with the IP address and the time, where every lead has come from. My traffic sources have not changed in the almost 6 years I have been with Maxbounty so this allegation of fraud I am convinced is not only mistaken, it is completely off the park.
I would like Steve to state what evidence he has that I committed fraud, I have heard of people who have had their accounts terminated but I always assumed there must have done something wrong as Maxbounty has a stellar reputation in the industry; but when the boot is on the other foot especially for someone who believes a mistake has been made, I think ignoring affiliates that have been with the network for close to 6 years and only responding to them on a public forum IMHO is not the way to go. Again I would like to stress in no way is this an allegation that Maxbounty is a fraudulent network, as its reputation for the close to six years I have been with them is without dispute, all I would like is Steve to respond with the evidence he has that I committed fraud (i.e. the offer/s the alledge fraud was on, and the IP address/es and time stamps responsible for the fraud to compare with my logs, or any evidence whatsoever that I committed fraud), as someone who has steered clear of blackhat techniques the entire time I have been doing affiliate marketing the allegation of fraud I find deeply worrying as I sincerely believe a mistake has been made.
