You have to learn to crawl before you walk don't rush it, all good things take time. The best is to take action and learn from your mistakes, only then will you keep improving and hopefully master the art of IM!

PS: a common mistake that leads a lot of people to failure is that they want to succeed quickly thus they dont want to invest much time into it because they think it is a waste of time, but in actual fact they will waste more time if they dont wanna take the time to learn and when they eventually fail, they give up (see how time is wasted here?)
