First dollars through friends/family?

Hi,

My question is probably really stupid and has been asked before, but I really didn't know how to search for it.

So my question is- What if I start promoting an offer by 'using' my friends and family? I could just send them the link so they can click it and fill in their data/their email address and I would make my first money through that and wouldn't even spend a dollar on that.

Is that possible? Or do the networks prevent/prohibit that?

    It is kind of pointless. And I'm sure most networks would frown upon it.

    Just do a search for "Free Traffic" sources and try one of 'em out!

    If you want to go the free route.

    Most networks either disallow this or frown on it, and this is def not a long term strategy

    It might work but its not going to last long because networks don't allow such. Just like @greedy said, search for free traffic sources and try them out. They work great too.
