Hey Guys, I am CHINTAN SHAH. Many of you must be knowing and for those who don't, I am currently based in MUMBAI and I am pursuing IM since 3 years now.
I wish to get known!

I have already hit 100$/Day on Facebook. I am running a niche dating offer in Facebook for USA Traffic.
I am NOT Cloaking it..
Its Not a Fan Page. It is a lander page

I aim to scale it to 250/day by this weekend.

My Targets (Best ROI) :
females : 35-40 (Included)
Who Like #McDonalds,PizzaHut (The lander is for a food date and surprisingly its working well)
Single
Full US
Currently 0.3 CPC , 0.09 CTR

Please Press "THANX" if this thread helps you
#ad networks (cpm/cpl, display) #250$ or day #case #facebook #study

  • What's a 'food date'? Something like:

    Love McDonalds?
Meet the girl of your dreams
at the fast food place of your
dreams. Click here to eat now!

    • YEAH!
      But NO...

I target foodies and then using that angle I send them to a dating site...Isn't that obvious.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • where I live McDonalds have been using the slogan 'it's a little bit fancy'. So if you really want to impress your date and take her somewhere fancy, take her out for a cheeseburger!!

  • direct link or custom lander?
  • Haha. Great stuff here.
  • are you using landing page, because facebook seems opposing using direct tracking url
    • [1] reply
    • I am using landing pages.
And its working well for me...I am just doing whatever I can to scale it.

      Facebook has so much potential
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • This is the great thing about FB. There so many angels that you can use.
  • any updates ?

    • I am not at home so just posting that made
      80$ today with a woman's targetted campaign.
      • [1] reply
  • I think you are in the right path. Just keep continue your great stuff. Best of luck.
  • What it mean by 35-40 (included)?
    • [1] reply
    • Im assuming his target is Females aged 35-40 years
  • You are lucky, I never could have a profitable campaigns. Automatic click ? See this article:
Advertiser Claims 80% of Facebook Ad Clicks are From Bots | WordStream
  • This post should be in the funny section, if there is one. Female 35-40 looking for a cheap guy at McDonald.
    • [1] reply
    • Why the hate?
Thats the reason most guys end up making below 100$ a month in IM. And start selling IP Address Hiding Stuff... lol just kidding.

Always test, even I thought women that age will be looking for a more sophisticated guy, but turns out I have the best ROI with this demo. It seems at this age some women are interested in sex and young blood and such places like MC. D will have a lot of young people hanging out because its cheap. The simple reason is 35-40 is an age that is not old but not young as well.
So try and test new stuff and you will be surprised
  • Great investment
  • Great post chintz24. Do you mind sharing the landing page? I am guessing it's a bridge between the CPA dating offer and the ad?

I'm also wondering how you managed to get your Facebook ads approved. I know the Facebook approval team is bipolar. But from my understanding and experience, they don't allow you to directly point out someone's interests, in your case McDonalds.
    • [1] reply
    • You are absolutely right. I don't mention mc. donald. I mention stuff related directly to it.
  • Very interesting thread...food dating niche Never heard of it before.

  • Sorry for being off these days.

    Updates for now:

Had 3 campaigns running, shut one as it was 17% ROI

    1st campaign:
This one targets females from 35-40.
    CTR: 0.482
    Clicks: 492
    Cost: 39$
    Earnings: 211$ {YAYYYY}

    2nd one:
This one targets MEN between 19-22
    CTR: 0.192
    Clicks: 176
    Cost: 32$
    Earnings: 201

One advice for all of the affiliates that are nervous:
Always open up your mind to any damn thing. Spend just 5$ to test if you are unsure but make sure you test everything for your own self.

  • That's great stuff man. Congratulations.

I haven't done much FB advertising, but I'm thinking that if you want to scale, maybe you can start targeting different ethnic groups and apply the concept to other themes. For example: Targeting BBW who want to eat at Olive Garden.

By the way, this is a great case study for "out da box" thinking. But don't give away the farm by sharing all your campaign secrets
    • [1] reply
    • Hey Thanx for your encouragement. I am ok with sharing my secrets because as I said 90% of the people will goof up.

All you need in IM is an open, feerless mind. IM is not Computer Science (Believe me I know- I am in Comps Science 2nd Year right now )
  • Nice , Thank you for posting :-)

i am trying to get traffic for Fan page :-)
  • Very interesting! Nice work!
  • Hi,

Excellent case study as mentioned by another user.

I have a question. Personally, I cannot make the connection between how a fast food ad can lead to a dating offer. Is definitely thinking outside the box.

So I wanted to ask you, who do you think this works? I assume it's your landing page that is making the difference. May I ask what type of landing page it is and how are you connecting those food lovers to dating?

If you aren't comfortable sharing publicly I understand. You can also PM me if u are ok with it.

    Thanks and congrats as well.
  • Congrats men I love the way you use angles to get killer ROI!

How do you achieve such good CTR? Does it last long?

Because when I used FB I always had trouble keeping a high CTR above 0.150 I must say where I got cheap clicks... how do you do?

    Thanks
    • [2] replies
    • Congrats Mate, nice numbers here. Would you mind to share a little bit about your lander (if you do not want to post this public you can PM me) how its structured, size of the lander etc.

      Thanks and Best Regards
    • I get such good CTR because I target very narrow Demographics.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I have 3 questions.

    1. Which networks are you using?
    2. Which types of offers ??
    3. Can you tell me some brief of your landing page.

I tried lot of with facebook. Some times they not accepted and some time offers not working right and some times no conversions.
    • [1] reply
    • 1. Not necessary-All networks have the same offer. I have it insanely bumped and so I can't share the network. Its one of the top 5 networks and very famous. Guess for yourself (Please dont guess in this thread)
      2. Niche Dating Regular Offers- Nothing Private.
      3. It has a great call to action. It is very bright for the eyes-uses bright colours. Emphasises on food dates
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Some Suggestions:

    1. Please stop asking for my lander. I am not revealing it.

    2. Never fear. Have an OPEN Mind.
  • I am feeling too lazy to write entire updates again.

My CTR is the same as before (slightly higher)

    Earnings (from 1st campaign)- 231$
    2nd Campaign: 204$

This Months Earnings Are 5619$ from these 2 campaigns alone. ( 18-09 to 12-10)

Cost is around 913$ So an overall awesome ROI
    • [1] reply
    • That's awesome man. Keep up the good work!
  • This is just great, congratulations man.
  • Wow... you're doing really great. Congratulations.

When you said lander or landing page, does that mean it's a separate url from facebook or is it an facebook app or something?

    Thanks.
    • [2] replies
    • Great thread.

Are you sending them to an email submit page, or something that they have to buy?

      Thanks,
      Raza
      • [1] reply
    • Its a lander page out of Facebook
  • From which country's have you traffic and how you are earning? CPA?
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
  • Are you using CPC here or CPI?
Besides google, I think Facebook is the next best thing.
  • Its a separate lander. Not a Facebook entity
  • I thought it was against Facebook TOS to advertise dating offers? is this not the case
    • [1] reply
    • That's where the smartness works.
It is a eating niche and Facebook thinks I am advertising food eateries.
  • Guys, Finally I reached 250$/DAY on One Campaign- Campaign 1

    Scaling it to 500$ NOW.

    #AchievedIT
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • You didn't answer my question.. o.O
CPC or CPM? I'm noob and just starting out with IM.

How'd you create a lander? iframe or something else?
    • [1] reply
    • I have answered to the same question 2 times.
      Please read the thread again.
For now, I am using CPC.
      Lander is custom built.
  • I reached 250$/ day! Finally.
One more tip is don't use CPM now. Facebook algo is screwing up.
Experienced users will know what I am talking about.
  • Congratulation Dear ....
    Which types of offers (CPA)??
    • [1] reply
    • YES THAT IS RIGHT-CPA.
      Dating Niche.
      Thank you.
  • I can't even understand how it works
Can you share how this things work ?
    • [1] reply
    • What do you not understand?
Can you be precise? Glad to help you out.

In short- Facebook ad is directed to a lander --> lander is directed to offer page-->
      I get paid for registrations

Campaign 2 is hovering around the same lines

    • What's your EPC from this campaign?
  • Very inspiring thread...
    Thanks Bhai
  • Are you targeting international offers or US traffic? If it is US base, how did you the clicks to be so cheap?
    • [2] replies
    • Wow! A big congratulations!
    • It does not depend on the country.
It depends on the demographic. Your targeting.
Most people target USA with very general targets and then say USA click costs are high. It doesn't only depend on the country. It depends on your over all targets, its simple bidding logic
      • [1] reply
  • Just asking, how much is it per lead you provide?
  • When are you coming out with your very own WSO? or product?
  • Hey Chintan, congrats for this wonderful achievement.

I've started a campaign on Facebook now for experimenting. Will post if it goes well.

One thing, I found is if we select Middle East & Asian countries (Plus Australia, Canada minus USA & UK) in targeted countries CPC comes down heavily and there are many products that convert with people from these countries, just need to find the best targeted international product.

Again the more CTR you generate, CPC lessens down. (Read some where but not sure)
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • Everything you said. Absolutely true. However with The latest algorithm the variation is not that huge.

  • Whats the payout on your offer? you said its a niche offer, which niche?

Also why only Mc donalds & Pizza hut? if you use them in your ads...why not create seperate campaigns for each?
    • [2] replies
    • This is really great stuff. Truly thinking outside the box. I'm still having trouble getting my head around the search path.

You run an ad on facebook for food.
The ad links to a custom lander which appears to face book to be a food related offer.
The lander links to a CPA dating offer.

So, in essence. The searcher clicks on an ad about food, lands on a page about food, and signs up for a dating site.

Do I understand the path correctly?

      Amazing, simply amazing.
      • [2] replies
    • I just said Macd and pizza hut As An example. I m using a similar franchise it is not out of those.
  • Hi Chintz,

I'm Andre Khrisna, an indie game producer from Indonesia.

I want to promote my iOS game ($2.99) via Facebook ads.
This game is Tower Defense/Strategy game with curiously challenging levels, kind like Plants vs Zombies but more difficult.

    My plan is targeting :
15-30 years old male/female with interest in #App Store (iOS), #Tower Defense, #Strategy Game, and #Hardcore Gamer, who have Apple devices (iOS) that is iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad, that resides in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Germany, France, Russia, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina.

Maybe i'll use CPM because CPC is too high.
I read that you suggested CPC, right?

Do you have any suggestion about my upcoming campaign?

    Thanks!
    • [1] reply
    • You will end up paying more in cpm .
Run on CPC for a while. The CPC will go down by itself
      • [2] replies
  • How much time does it take to get an ad approved/rejected. Is it 24 hrs minimum?

Mine is under review...It's already 12 hrs
  • Those are great results, I hope the scaling works out well for you.

    Good Luck

    Clive
    • [1] reply
  • How much time/days you spent to achieve target?
  • I don't think this has been discussed yet. I'm assuming you didn;t happen upon this winning campaign right out of the box.

How much did you spend on testing before you found the right combination of offer, lander, ad, and demo?
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • I spent about 450-500 before having insane profits. Its always that. Out of the box thinking is required but you HAVE to split test. I can't stress enough on this.
I started having profits since spending about 70-90$
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Just outta curiousity do you have your campaign massively bumped because you work for the network you are getting the offer from?

Just curious coz it isnt hard to find a Chintan Shah that works for ***************.com

When you dangle a carrot like an offer thats converting well people are obviously gonna try and look for it lol
    • [2] replies
    • Ha!.."When you dangle a carrot like an offer" good example
    • Interestingly I am not getting it off the network I with.
I have an AM friend and he wanted me to run this offer as a test and ya it is bumped.

  • Its fantastic discussion

    Congratulation ...thanks
  • I am sorry I didn't get what did you mean?
    • [1] reply
    • I mean't theres a Chintan Shah that works for a well known CPA Network but didn't want to mention as per your request earlier in thread.
  • Good luck brother. FB is always awesome if you test it out.
  • I had my first campaign and first $$ from click bank.

Spent - $23 Earned - $68 (1 day) Will try to scale to $100 profit..

But had 17 click bank order form calls but few actually converted into sales. This means there was some problem with payment processing/credit card validation. Other wise it would have been a lot of money. Will follow up with click bank and analyze FB stats (perhaps visitor from some country might not be supported by the product)

Note - This was a recurring product on Work from home niche...not related to any dating, socializing product ....

Tip - Ads with attractive image gets more amount of click and because of this CPC decreases...
    • [2] replies
    • Subscribed!!! I am going to keep an eye on your thread I love these case studies... Good Luck...

    • You are correct!
      • [1] reply
  • Hi chintz24, I am using the same method as you but with a different angle. Last week I saw very good profits, but this week my conversions were very little.

I'm still using the same landing page that worked for me for about 1.5 weeks but now it's not converting at all. Do you have any idea why?
    • [1] reply
    • Change the offer or split test with another network. If that doesn't work- campaign has died.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Chintan - I do something related to your niche, except I'm in a different market. However, I know which age, location, sex demographics convert my products the best.. so maybe I'm at an advantage because my information has been gathered over two years? Am I able to target all three of these demographics on FB at the same time? I'm a complete CPA CPC noob.

*EDIT, I would be willing to pay you for some coaching on fb advertising....let me know how much you charge. I don't need your exact offers, I just need your methods so I can apply them to my offers!

    • Interesting thread...I can't even get my ads approved by FB. Want to promote an offer similar to Netflix. I mimicked their lander, my ad is almost the same as theirs, still it doesn't get approved. Can you or anyone on this thread tell me if FB allows .php for the outgoing link? How do you track/cloak your link?
      • [1] reply
    • It is running around the same lines. No upward\downward movement. I will let you guys know as soon as there is anything worth mentioning.

News: I got a massive bump on the payout.
  • How long have you been running offers on Facebook?
  • I think that this person is scammed. I add him in Skype and he say what 1 hour 1-on-1 Coaching cost $199, and he making $400,000 Mount. he don't have any proof that he is professional in IM. and finally he block me in Skype )))

Anyway I am not interested in newbish bullshit.
      And Yes, I make 400k A month.
15 k this month is because the campaign in this thread.
I do not need to prove myself but I do not mind. If anyone has any doubts about me, let me know I will show you all the proofs that you need.

      Who wouldnt block you.
I bet that you have not made a $ in IM so far and with the attitude you never will.
    • what $199 but in PM the OP asked me $499 now all it looks fishy
      • [1] reply
  • That is a pretty reasonable rate for 1 on 1 coaching. I've worked with coaches who charge that for 15 minutes.
  • I don’t like these types of threads because literary anybody can open the same thing and brag:
“Today I have made 500 $!!! I have spend only 1 $ for cpc ads and my roi is 12 000. If you want my coaching send me a PM – hour is only 300 $!!!!”
People, be careful and don’t let other make fool of you and take your money for nothing!
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • You are absolutely right. I completely agree with you. There are scammers everywhere today. I do not mind if I am not able to coach. It does not matter.
My Identity is Chintan Shah- Affiliate/ AM. It will never be a coach as that is not something I will be doing for a long time.

The interesting thing is I wasn't even doing this coaching thing before starting this thread. I started this thread and people started PMing asking me to coach them and I figured it was not a bad idea anyway.

I still think that coaching is not something that is absolutely necessary, I never had a Coach!
      I am not a "GURU".
  • Anyway this thread is not about my coaching. It is about the facebook campaign so I would urge people not to take it off-track.
  • I've been working online with various networks, etc.. lots of avenues for 12+ years....I call a big BS on this entire thread. The OP is full of it, imo.

      1. Setting a perfect demo group.
      2. Split testing images AFTER getting the demo group right.
      3. Tweaking the lander to help them understand what exactly I am offering.

  • The demo gets right when you get a decent ctr because you know that they are interested in what you have to offer. It is as simple as that. Keep tweaking by applying on your logic. Follow your gut.
It can be 10-15 clicks or it may be related to an hour. It really depends.

  • hi Chintan intersting read , sounds like you know how to do successful campaigns to me .
could you pm me please regarding a 1 to 1 and roughly what we would cover.
    Thanks
    Michael..
  • chintz24 is completely right. It is all about some weird angle.

I haven't done any FB ads, only PPC. But what I found, in several PPC campaigns, is that I can never predict which ad will do the best. Usually the ad I considered a personal masterpiece, doesn't deliver, but some boring ad I wrote just to make up numbers does the best.
  • Though I never saw a food dating niche but I think you just gave some great idea.
  • Another niche I feel will work- I have no physical evidence it does. I feel it should.

    Computer date.
Target men who like computers and target women who know nothing about computers and match them both up. BAM.

Really revealed all the sauce here
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Most importantly, this thread is again for questions to this campaign. This is NOT MY "WSO" thread that you are posting your "rave" reviews and opinions
  • great job!
  • Cool man. Good job.
