How much to spend to test email Submit Offers with PPV?

Hi guys,

First of all my apologies for such a noob question but I have to ask it:

I was wondering, when testing an email offer which pays say $1.5 per action, how much of a budget should I allocate to see whether or not it will work out?

The way I understood this type of "testing" is that if my offer pays say $20 I should spend $10-$15 to see conversions, if I see no conversions after spending that much then the offer will not be profitable.

Still, I don't understand how say $1-$15 worth of data is good to determine whether an offer will be profitable...

Any input or scenarios experts want to share when it comes to testing low payout CPA offers such as email submits?

It depends on the number of targets, as a rule of thumb I spend what the offer pays on a target and if there are no leads then deactivate it. Often my overall budget is based on the offer payout, number of targets, niche, etc

Im doing lots of email submits in PPV, in my experience if the target (url) doesn't give you a lead after 30 views, I discard it. I know I may be missing some profits, but this way I can test thousends of targets. once you find the winners its all golden

Say I have 5 targets.. each paying $1.5 per action.. I would have to spend $7.5 to find one that actually converts and take it from there?

Would you say that spending whatever the offer pays is enough to have a clear idea of whether the offer converts or not? For instance, if you have only 1 offer you want to test and then you send people to:

        1. Direct link
        2. Landing Page A
        3. Landing Page B

Would you spend $1.5 PER landing page or just $1.5 Overall?

Hmm.. so at 0.015 per view, 30 views would be $0.45 cents to test whether an email submit offer converts or not? Are you doing direct links btw? or are you testing landing pages instead?

Question for both about testing multiple targets:

Would it be fair to say that a budget of $30 is enough test 20 email submit offers in different niches (using direct linking) to find a winner? OR do you guys usually create landing pages even for email submits as a rule of thumb?

Thank you so much for your time and help guys, I appreciate it very much!

Depends on niche and what the action is..

    What is the action required?

I recently spent $50 in one day for an adult CPA, did a lot of research first. Results where very pleasing.

Lets assume that this is not an adult offer but rather something like a 1K gift card from best buy..the action required is put name and email and click submit... and the traffic source is LI
