How is it possible to get no conversions with 7search?

I have spent $3.21 on this campaign so far and not even one person filled out an email. How is it possible to get 131 clicks and not even a 1% conversion rate? I am tracking my keywords with prosper202 and using an Ipad mini offer that is converting for my network. What am I doing wrong?

I have 130k impressions and 104 clicks. Should I start writing ads for specific keywords? I have deleted some of my keywords but not blocked any SUb ids because there has only been 100 clicks total.

Look at where your traffic is coming from in prosper and that should give you the answer.

You can pass 3 variables from 7Search into your link. They are:
        • ###KEYWORD###
        • ###AFFID###
        • ###RID###
The keyword is obviously really important, but the AFFID is the affiliate ID from 7Search for where you are getting your traffic from. You can blacklist affiliate's that are driving crappy traffic to your link. I have a complete guide on adding these variables to your link in my article on how to setup a 7Search campaign and also have an article on blacklisting bad sources that has the form you can fill out to get the ability to blacklist added to your 7Search account

I got 2 conversion yesterday and I am at a $1 dollar loss so far. I deleted one keyword that was costing me $3.77 for 48 clicks. I have no conversion tracking with prosper202 so it is still a guessing game. I really don't know why it wont track conversions correctly.

Did you place the tracking pixel or setup the postback?

              zt,

7search is such a...what's a good word to use..."temperamental" ppc marketplace that I would really suggest you do some deeeeep research before diving into their pool.

I myself live here in town with those guys and have exchanged page after page of recommendations with them on why their system has so many shortcomings and/or how to make themselves more user friendly.

People DO convert on there, but if you get a list of their top 100 words you'll see the people having the most luck involve penis related products so...unless you're ready to change what you're selling my suggestions to you go like this...

-do that 7search research. Sound like Luke from above has a great post. Gauher's got a free video I think too somewhere on his site from a year ago. After a lot of my complaints 7search put 3 vids on youtube about 2 years go, so check those out.

-your spend amount gives me the impression you might be newish (maybe not, if so I apologize) but I would strongly advise more tracking knowledge. As advised above, use Prosper or something like that (demontracking was a wso on here not too long ago) and get good at monitoring keywords/conversion on ANY ppc source.

-speaking of sources; in terms of quality I think you'd do better on Bing. Adwords---well I'd say that's a risk without lots of experience. If you're trying to stay in the 7search level, check out findology or ABC (I think they might be called advertise.com now) and marchex (and I think they're called adknowledge.com now).

You're paying about 7-8 cents a click now and you can get that price at all those other sources BUT you're going to have the same problems until you get your keyword tracking knowledge under control. And there are TONS of youtube vids to lay that out for you.

This is how it is on 7search. Traffic is cheap but so is quality. It is possible to get conversions and a god ROI but like any other PPC traffic source, you need to test a lot to find a winning campaign.

This isn't uncommon, what strategy are you using? How are you targeting, etc?
