Where Are You Getting All Your Images?

AD NETWORKS

Newb here. Not in IM but in CPA. I'm knee deep in initial test campaigns.
I am running about a 2:5 ratio of images/ text copy on my campaigns.

1) Is this a good/fair/poor ratio?

2) I'm having a tough time finding free images. I'm paying enough on traffic I don't want to spend on every image in my cataloge?

Any help would be great! Thanks CPA Warriors.

Free images usually aren't very good. What I was able to do, though, was pick up a $10.00 Print Workshop CD from the discount rack at Office Max. About 50,000 categorized images right on the CD. I did not have to join anything. Well worth it when I'm looking for content.

  thx for the tip on offline images. never even thought of this.
  
  I am running a number of campaigns right now and it seems as though images have a limited shelf life. For example POF is great in terms of demographics but the shelf life of images is lower (my experience and what i've read)

You can find good royalty free large stock photos at Royalty Free Stock Photos they are only $.99 each.

You run the risk of using copyrighted images doing this...but the chance of you getting sued is quite small(although it has happened with dating images).

If we're talking facebook ads here I would suggest avoiding most stock image sites as they perform quite poorly, amateur images do much better.
