      no i dont pay first , the steps like this:

      1- sign up in my site and get affiliate link

      2- promote affiliate link and introduce users buys my VIP membership package cost $20

      3- at the end of the month i pay 10$ for each VIP user you introduce

    First of all your commission rate is too low. Affiliates get more than 60$ for a trial membership to an adult offer which is easier to convert. Why will anyone promote for you on a straight sales?

    Make sure you have a proper business idea charted. Because to be honest I feel the current one sucks.

    If what you are offering is a $10 recurring monthly commission per qualified referral, this can attract decent affiliates.

    If it's a $10 per lead, no credit card required, this can also attract affiliates. In fact, $10 is more than you should probably offer.

    If you're offering $10 commission on a completed sale, good luck! Affiliate marketers have endless offers available to them that are much better.

      That's exactly the point everyone in this thread seems to be missing...OP claims to pay on a CPA basis, while in reality he pays on a CPS basis (everytime someone purchases the VIP membership, you get paid).

      fxstay, do you even know what CPA means? Cost per action/acquisition...so you pay affiliates when someone signs up on your site (fills out a form, for example, signing up for a free membership) for free. NOT when a membership is purchased, as this is not CPA.

      However, I doubt it's worth it to pay $10 for a free subscriber...

    I hate cpa offers that pretend to be CPL but are really CPS. I did an case study for one a while back and they were getting a ton of "Free" traffic from affiliates but advertised as CPL when in reality it was completely CPS.

    Not fair at all.

    OK Hey.
    yours is not called CPL or CPA!
    Its actually Called CPS!
    CPA = COST PER ACTION
    CPL = COST PER LEAD
    CPS = COST PER SALE

    Ok what i would recommend is that
    if you are really very confident on the sales part on your end
    pay for affiliates to have them send you traffic and get paid only when a sign up has taken place
    A free ONE!
    This way you dont really have to pay $10
    if you want to remain competitive and want to make sure that you attract only the good affiliates
    pay about $4 -$6 per payout - free sign up.
    You will need to bear the risk but this people who sign up are interested in your offer already so its your job to sell to them
    if you pay $4 per sign up.
    and your sales cost $20
    This means every 5 sign up requires 1 sale to break even.
    So you have to find something more convenient for you as well as affiliates.
