You will have to make a test campaign and burn money to find that out. Conversions will depend on ad copy, keywords, Landing page.

Lots of variables in there and you need to test each one to see which one is working the best for you.

7Search has 3 variables you can pass into your PeerFly link which will give you the keywords and data you need:
    • ###KEYWORD###
    • ###AFFID###
    • ###RID###
You can pass them as separate SubIDs into your link or as one SubID with dashes between them. I have a complete article on how you can set it up at:
    Setting up a 7Search Campaign

Let me know if you have any questions

You can also place 7 Search's tracking pixel into Peerfly so that you can see conversion data right in 7 Search. I still recommend that you set the variables in your tracking links, like Luke showed you. The tracking pixel will only give you data on keywords. You'll still want the data on the referrers.

This is dead on, but I also recommend using prosper202 to track better/more

If you read through my article on setting up your 7Search campaign and then my article on how to optimize your campaign you'll see that you can use the ###AFFID###-###RID### to blacklist bad sources on 7Search.

          Hi,

In looking at the article it's printed that this should be at the end of the affiliate link:

          &s1=###KEYWORD###&s2=###AFFID###&s3=###RID###

In the video below that it's stated as "long link" for direct linking like this:

          &subid1=###KEYWORD###&subid2=###AFFID###&subid3=## #RID###

This is for setting up Peerfly with 7search (destination link) direct linking. Are they both the same?

Would it look like this in the destination link of 7search?

We changed the link structure recently at PeerFly, so if you're direct linking you'd want to use the link from the article (the video has not been updated). However, the link you are showing is from Prosper202. I would suggest just direct linking with your PeerFly (trkur) link instead. If you want to use Prosper202 you can pass the variables as keywords and c variables.

I just uploaded a video a second ago on how you can do that

What Luke said. Pass all your 7search traffic through Prosper202 before sending it to the network.

Below is a screenshot of my stats of a test campaign I was running.

At the time I had it setup so the following variables were passed along to P202:

          c1 = ###AFFID###_###RID###

In hindsight it would have been better to put AFFID and RID on seperate c variables, but that's what happens when you are drunk when setting up new campaigns.

Once setup properly, there's all kinds of ways to look at the click data in P202, but I really like the Group Breakdown report which lets you break down campaigns in almost any way imagineable. The screenshot below is for a campaign I was running for MaxBounty a few months back and I used the Group Breakdown report to break it down first by keyword, then by the c1 variable (in this case that was the AFFID and RID that 7search lets you pass along).

Of the 3 conversions I got during the test, all of them came from a very specific keyword (sorry, I've blacked it out for obvious reasons), but I can also see that affiliate 71603 sent me 2 of them and 73232 sent me the other lead.

The key is to use that data to take out all the non-converting crap from your campaign. There's not really enough data in that test to make much of a decision except for determining that "asian girl" was not a very good keyword so far (but at only 27 clicks for that keyword it is still too early to tell).

          Here's the report in P202:

I like to use bevo to track clicks and conversions.
when creating a 7search campaign, bevo auto populates the tracking variables like so

and my tracking link to place on 7search

As I always say, don't burn too much spend on 7search before realizing it's not going to work. They have a ton of fraud click traffic. Be careful.

Does this work for Prosper202, Peerfly and 7search?

      h-t-t-p://eztrack909.7774.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=923&c1=###KEYWORD###&c2=###AFFID###& c3=###RID###

I want to be able to look at my data and block the bots and such on 7search and of course learn how to use prosper202 properly.

      Thanks,
      {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[7553101].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author LukePeerFly
That would work, but I suggest doing:
    &c1=###KEYWORD###&c2=###AFFID###-###RID###

Then, you can group by c2 in your Prosper202 and see which AFFID-RID you need to blacklist.

On the tracking pixel, isn't there a way to set up code on Peerfly that enables all my campaigns on Peerfly to have a common way to track or do I need to do the pixel for each campaign?

      Thanks,

        Thanks,
Peerfly has a global tracking pixel. Login to your account, and on the right side under Resources will be a link "Global Postback". Click that and put your P202 callback url there.

Yes, thanks, this is where it's still a bit confusing. Does this look right for 7search, peerfly and prosper202 for the postback at Peerfly?

With the way you have your link setup you would need to use the pixel, which you have to place on each offer.

In order to use the postback would you would need to pass the [[subid]] placeholder into one of the SubIDs on your PeerFly affiliate link and then include that SubID as subid= in your postback URL.

That doesn't look quite right, here's what I have setup:

You are missing the %commission% variable in yours, and you are passing back subid #2 - do you plan to use that second subid variable? You probably don't need it.

And why do you have cid=0 in your postback? That's not a postback variable, remove it.

Also make sure you aren't passing along anything to peerfly except for your P202 subid - you don't need to pass along keywords or anything else, there is no point to send that to them.

Which one is sending the keyword?

Also in #11 above, where is that page in p202? I'm looking in Group Overview but don't see a page like that, maybe because my tracking has been set up incorrectly.

The Group Overview report populates once you select how to filter the data via the drop downs at the top of the report. For that specific screenshot, I filtered it by Campaign, then Keyword, then c2 (which is where I pass the 7search AFFIF and RID variables to for that campaign).

For the Keyword, you don't send that to Peerfly. You pass the keyword from 7search to P202, but you don't pass that along to Peerfly. The *only* variable you should be sending to Peerfly is the subid for the specific visitor - Peerfly does not need to see your keywords or anything else.

So you're saying if I choose not to send the keyword to Peerfly it would look like this:

Try what Luke said, then work on getting Prosper202 working since it tracks more completely.
