Is it important/mandatory to install prosper202 in VPS? or can I install it to my hostgator shared hosting also??

It'll work on shared hosting, but it may load slow, which will decrease your conversion rate. That being said, I've ran successful PPV campaigns using Prosper202 on a HostGator shared plan before so it's still possible

  IMO it depends on your traffic volume if you don`t drive too much traffic volume shared hosting is okay but if you run 1000 + visitors a day then you will need VPS . Tough VPS is recommend as redirects on shared hosting are slow and it takes too much time ...Do check out Tracking your Traffic

Prosper202 works great on Hostgator - I've put mine on a subdomain. If you start making $150+ a day then it's probably worth investing in a faster system, but don't let people scare you into thinking you need a dedicated server or something when you're just starting out.

Yes it works. I just set it up yesterday on Baby package. It's working fine. I just wanted some ppc visitors for holiday season. HostGator is the best way to get 1 month of tracking for free

BTW. I used coupon tjosmtjosm to get first month free.
