Newspaper advertising w/ Cpa offers

Hey guys whats up. I was curious to find out more about advertising in newspaper classified with cpa offers such as:

short email forms for apple products like FREE iphones or something.

I was a little confused..I start looking at newspapers in my state (Colorado)

and found a newspaper (I don't mind sharing it)

http://www.ourcoloradonews.com/app/p...ed%20pages.pdf

if you go down to the marketplace ads you will see it costs:

$20 for a one week ad for the general marketplace but that is for a liner ad rates. I have no idea what that is. Basically can anyone shed advice if you have ever done newspaper advertising thanks.

Yes, I have done news paper advertizing, In fact it sounds like one of the methods in my wso? If you got the method from my wso, Just try to copy what I done (with your own offer and angle of course) and im sure you will have success. I made around $1900 in profit the first time I ever tried this method so Im sure if you take action on it you wont regret it.. As far as the "liner ad rate" im not to sure, I just go with a front page ad most of the time, but the $20 sounds great if it has any reader base at all...

Were you promoting a free trial offer or an email/zip submit? Based on your experience would you say you should just promote free trial offers with newspaper ads or do email/zip submits still get a good roi?

Also, did you put the same ad in the newspaper again to repeat the success or have too many of the same readers already seen the ad previously?

Give them a call they'll usually have a very helpful advertising department.

Your best bet is to get answers from the source.

hey guys, I have a new question. So I am thinking of going for the ad which is $20 for one week in the classifieds section.

the circulation is: 170,000 and I am trying to get a feel for this whole newspaper advertising.

so if the circulation is 170,000 for the whole newspaper how many impressions can I expect for my ad?

      This is an impossible question/answer
It depends on ad placement, newspaper, etc

The best thing to do is try it, it's a decent idea to try but you will never know if anything is going to work until you try it

      I think its way under 0.5% = <85

Maybe you can get 1-2 conversions out of that.

          Hi
That is what the guy at our local Newspaper (Germany) told me is possible.
          I didn't do a test however.

Just give it a try and tell us.

Have you make sure your CPA Network accept traffic from classified ads for that CPA offer?

Make sure to check with your AM first. Some networks do not allow offline promotion without prior approval.

You should test in small samples before going all out into it. $20's a low figure for testing purposes. Try out various ad placements and scale up those that makes you a profit, no matter how little it is. Also, split test different ads for better profit margin.

I'm also curious about this. I've heard about people having lots of success with newspaper ads but I don't know what if I just shorten the link or what. Any input?
