Hello guys, have you ever tried to promote Clickbank products with 7 search? Have you been successful?

  • I have been having hard time converting email submits with 7 search. So, I am not going to try that. I think it will be difficult and if you have a big budget, one can experiment with that.

    • Use a related PLR and just use the traffic to build a list. Then use email campaign for the related ClickBank products.

  • No, personally I've never tried.

I would do an email squeeze then once I get their email, email them the offer.

Also making sure to pick very off-the-beaten-path niches.
  • Using a squeeze page to capture opt-ins is the right advice.

You can't sell Clickbank products to cold traffic.

    A simple tactic that should get results: a 3 part auto-responder follow-up, 1 message a day.

First message you introduce yourself, and describe the features of the product you're promoting.

Second message, explain to your subsciber why they need this product.

Third message, explain how to get the product and give some tips for implementing it, and how to get on going support.

These are sent out 1 a day for 3 days. The repeated exposure will increase conversions. Use the clickbank TIDs to track the performance of each message.

And while you're at it, be sure to choose products with rebills and build yourself recurring income.

    • Then after the 3 emails what do you do? If I make a sale, woo! and if I dont thats ok. Do I just leave the list alone? Or go back to it in teh future? I am not sure...

  • As a Clickbank Vendor, I have used 7search in the past to promote my product with success. The ROI was not bad at all. I was doing email marketing.

    Having said that ...

After a while, I noticed my ROI got lower and lower and more and more inconsistent.

The problem with that network is too many fraud clicks. My gut feeling is that as soon as their partners see big spenders using the network, they up the fraud clicks like crazy (it's basically free money to them).

There is a way to block specific partners/sites, so you can lower the fraud click rate, but from memory it was not easy, and 7search themselves basically make you jump through hoops to do it.

So overall, I would not recommend the network, based on own experiences, although if you're prepared to go through all the trouble of blocking fraudulent partners in their network, it CAN work, and you can make a decent ROI.
  • Beware of 7search. They have a ton of fake click bots and overall low quality traffic. Take your money elsewhere. ie. Google or Yahoo.

    • I'm profitable with 7Search traffic, and happy to spend my money there. I don't get garbage clicks for long. Its just a matter of proper tracking, and blocking the sources of bad clicks. 7Search will refund bad clicks, but you have to catch them.

  • 7search traffic is ideal for email and zip submits, even short form offers. However, in order to promote CB offers you have to offer them something free first and then send them emails promoting offers. If you do it correctly with a good squeeze page, yes it converts.
  • Squeeze page all the way..
  • Never used 7searches.
  • We see pretty good results with our email submits and short forms as has been mentioned, but I've also read quite a few posts here on WarriorForum about people having success with squeeze pages and ClickBank products. Definitely worth a shot!
  • I've had success with CPS offers for physical products in the skin care niche at a $25 price point. Conversions were uncommon, but the clicks were so cheap it was still profitable after blocking bad clicks.

  • I see only bad feedback here about 7search

    • That's what you will see about 7Search, and most any traffic source if that is what you're looking for. There is no traffic source that you just throw a little money at and make a profit.

I spent my first 6 weeks on 7Search "losing money." Really what was happenning is I was buying the data I needed to tune my campaigns and make a profit.

You learn what works by trying, not by listening to people complain.

I also convert traffic from PTC networks, traffic exchanges, and safelists. These are all generally regarded as "junk traffic" and that's fine by me. Less competition.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • yes it works.

When people have something bad to say about anything they scream it from the rooftops and make sure everyone knows how they feel.

When they have something good to say they don't really put as much effort into making sure everyone knows.

    it's human nature.

    • Anomalus, when i read all the answer, i think all is based on testing and collect data to see how to make a profit campaigns

  • I tried to spend 150$ on 7search and I just got 3 sales. Was I doing something not well about choosing niche/making ads/choosing products or 7search isn't a good PPC now?
  • I think 7s is niche specific - again as most have mentioned here it's about testing and fine tuning. I ran a CB product last week burnt just over $280.00 with 16 sales for a total LOSS of $123.20 ..... spun the same campaign with refined data spent $63.00 with 8 sales for a total PROFIT of $15.40 Point is refine, re-tune and re-run

    • I have tried 7search before and i did have profitable campaigns, especially with dating CPA offers.

The only problem is that you can't scale and you're stuck making $5 profit per day
  • Not sure why you suggest scalability is an issue... it's about tuning. Weeding out the KW that cost and don't convert. Anything can be scaled
