Which traffic Source is Suggested PPV/ Mediabuying/ PPC for a Beginner

Hi There,
I am promoting a biz opp cpa offer(EWA network) with CPV traffic(Lead Impact) since 3 weeks. I struggled with tracking system and landing pages for the first one week and started noticing some conversions for 2 days in the beginning of the 2 week but conversions are zero from past 10 days. 3 days ago I changed the lander and I am the highest bidder. I got 19 impressions and 5 clicks and the conversion rate is 0 and yesterday I added bunch of 200 urls and I got more clicks and one just one conversion in the early hours and no conversion after that.

Ewa Stas:

P202 stats:

I dont understand why p202 is not showing up the conversions. It would be great if you guys help me out by giving your valuable suggestions.

Also, I feel the traffic to be low from CPV. So I want to try other traffic sources like Media buying and PPC on which I had never worked.

First off you haven't had enough traffic pass through yet to really measure much. You need a few hundred clicks at least.

One general rule that people around here seem to follow is send enough clicks through that costs you about 2-3x what you make on the offer to get a basic benchmark.

I.e. if you make $4.15 in the offer like your screenshot shows and you are paying $0.05/click you know that you can pay for $4.15 / $0.05 = 83 clicks before you are losing money. But to really test the ad you need to run about 83 x 3 = 249 clicks to really measure your traffic source and where you are sending it.

Aside from that, the reason it is not tracking the conversion in P202 is because you didn't setup the postback. Go into P202, click on Setup, then on Get Postback/Pixel. That will send you to a page that have your global postback url, it will be something like this:

    http://mydomain.com/tracking202/stat...amount=&subid=

You need to take that URL and enter it into your CPA network, they will have specific spot for the postback. You also need to put your commission and subid variable from their network into the right spot in that url.

Once you've done that, all future clicks you send that convert will ping P202 with the commission information.

      Thanks for replying.
I applied the postback pixel today and I am on my way to test for 249+ Clicks as you said. besides this I have some stats of yesterday what would like to suggest on that. I hope this will definitely help newbies like me to start

Ewa and from P202 stats show me that I got 10 Clicks and 1 conversion out 24 impressions

24 imp, 10 click, 1 conversion >>> 44% ctr, 10% cr, they're good number mate, for an offer which pay $4.15 per lead, it's very good, keep it up mate!

That is good conversion rate, but at the end of the day doesn't mean much because you need to do more traffic.

Get some more traffic so the data can mean something.

Yes, I have to get more traffic. I have added 421 urls so far and I am the higest bidder for most of the urls. but the traffic is really low not impressive so far. I see most of the traffic from adword urls rather than organic.

Please suggest me few tips to generate more traffic.

I have to pause the campaign as I wasnt having access to the computer for few days.

I followed what Greedy said, Selected few sites which come into my niche or the sites which has visitors like I wanted and I got around 500+ impressions per day. but unfortunately the CTR was low like 0.02-0.03%. So I changed the landing page but still no success. So I kept on testing for 4 days with different landing pages but no success. I thought I should be doing wrong so I came back to you guys again for suggestions.

Also I am facing problem with tracking. EWA guys not letting me know subid of thier network. They want me to put anything instead of subid . I did it but no success. It would be great if any ewa affiliate here can help me with tracking.

          Waiting for your suggestions

Ramp up the traffic mate. Don't be shy at driving traffic.

Split testing the offer is much recommended. How many creatives do you have? Split testing creatives/ad copies is a "must" in CPA marketing.

Honestly, you've gotten some leads by doing what you're doing so keep at it, just work on optimizing and learning your current traffic source more

I'd suggest you to start from PPV because it's not too much difficult comparing to media buy.

You can get a lot of traffic from PPV if you know how to create a perfect landing page. Also, the cost for this traffic is very cheap. Bid price is usually started at $0.02 per view.

If you can create a landing page that has 15-20% CTR, you could send 15-20 clicks to the offer's page only $2. I usually make $5-6 for every $2 from PPV.

Keep reading through this forum and you will know how to be profitable from PPV traffic

So Far, I have 400+ URLs in my Lead Impact campaign but the traffic is really low.

Yesterday I got only 16 impressions, 2 clicks and 1 conversion. I want to increase the traffic. It would be great if you share your ideas on increasing the number of impressions.

Im facing a lot of problem with tracking, EWA guys arent giving me subids they are saying I can use anything in the place of subids. I did it, but no use.
I dont see the leads in my P202.

I followed what Christian said, but still they leads arent showing up in my p202. It would be really great if someone helps with this.

I really doubt you will get paid by EWA so I suggest you go with a more trusted network like MaxBounty or PeerFly. Good job on your journey so far.

I don't have any other option.
Indians arent accepted by maxbounty and Peerfly wanted to make some $$ with other networks and show them to get approved
