If you had $1500 to test ads or maybe a media buy, how or what would you do to increase your chance for success?
#$1500

Is $1,500 all you've got? You need two budgets, a test budget which you allocate funds to test campaign ideas and then a scaling fund to go long on a winner.

Personally I allow $500 for a campaign test buy, so $1,500 would only allow for 3 tests.

I would take half of that $1500 and spend it on Yahoo ads and Google Adwords.

I would also take the other half and test in on other less known PPC companies.

Test each of your ads and each search engine to see what works best. Then when you know your numbers, just work with that PPC company that worked well for you and continue with them.

Would you direct link to affiliate offers?

I know you can't do this on MSN/Yahoo (and Google I can't even use)...but I know you can on 7Search.

Only if you where going after highly targeted buying traffic from Adcenter or Adwords, and even then I'd see if the merchant had their own winning landing page I can direct traffic towards.

What are some of the other PPC or PPV you would recommend outside of Google, Bing/Yahoo and 7Search?

Id go with LeadImpact. Its $200 starting budget and PPV.

When I started with it, I spent $50 and I made like $3 back. It was horrible.
But I then talked to someone who had an old campaign and he let me use it.

I then spent the remaining $150 and made like $160 back. This was with an old campaign and a newb like myself running it. If I had worked on the campaign and had a large budget, i probably could of made the return higher.

You can really make money with it, you just need to know what your doing. Imagine spending your $1500 and getting back like $2000+ in a week.

With your $1500, id say you can really do some tweaking and make a profitable campaign.

If you do choose to go down this road, I wouldnt recommend email submits.
Try things like MyPcBackup, AutoInsurance Leads, Dating, Business Op.
Leads that generate $4+ and are free.

How long do you think a profitable campaign can last, once you hit profits with it?

Probably ppc or ppv, IMO 1500 isn't enough to do media buys without previous experience.

So do you guys build a mini-site to drive PPC from Yahoo and MSN? Because they don't allow direct linking.

Yes, first build mini / niche sites and direct your Google/Yahoo/Bing Traffic to your sites. You will never get ban from any of them if you follow it.

I dont prefer you to spend it on any adult offers.

If I were you I will go with PPV traffic but if you're a newbie then I think you will lose your money with any traffic source. The main thing is you will keep walking or decide to stop. Anyway goodluck mate!

Media buying can be hard for beginners I would definitely save the money for PPC, PPV, or POF ads.

Do some research first and make sure you set up proper tracking.

What is the best tracking for a newbie? I tried Prosper once, and found it difficult for some reason.

Also, how do you make banners on the fly the easy way?

Prosper202 is great for free, and also CPVLab is really solid as well, but not free.

Prosper202 can be tricky at times to set up, but that's all just part of the game. Check out their free videos on their website and check out their forum for help.

I use Paint when I need to make banners, funny it's so simple, but hey it works.

Maybe I will let professional to handle my campaign. I will pay for "Affiliate Promotion Package" from Multiple Stream Media.

They will run your campaign through Targeted List Advertising, Stand-Alone Email Drop, Pay-Per-Click Text & Banner Ads, Interstitial Advertising. Minimum visitor guarantee for this package is 14K

I never try this package before, so I don't know whether their service is good or not but if I have $1,500, I will pay for this package.

I would never, in a million years, do that. For many reasons. That's just me.

Can someone please explain to me, simply, how to do this...

When using PPC, like 7Search for example, how do you track which keyword converts when you don't have access to the "thank you" page of the product you are promoting? This is not only for products like Clickbank, but even CPA offers.

Can someone explain how to do this quickly and easily? Thanks!

you can use Prosper202 to track it, install it on your hosting, setup campaign, then you will see the Pixel tracking section, just copy the code then put it into your CPA network account. Then everytime you get a lead, the pixel will fire and you will know what keyword brought that lead.

Message your affiliate manager and they can show/help you place a tracking pixel.

This combined with P202 will track conversions.
