Do you buy lottery tickets?

Alot of successful business people I know do not or people who want to be successful do not. If you look at the odds of winning the main prize in a big lottery or national lottery the odds are huge. You have 14 million to one chance of winning the big prize in the British national lottery. Is there something to do with wanting to be rich that makes someone not want to buy lottery tickets?

The lottery is a silent tax on the dreamers and the desperate, so no i do not buy them.

It's all about the odds, 1 person wins a million but 100 000 win nothing or few only as much to get their lost money back. My opinion is that it's really a fools hope and despair. People who want to have money should work hard and pay the effort.

The successful business people know that their fate is in their own hands and only by paying the price with full dedication they can achieve success.

I have bought a lottery ticket a few times and can happily admit it was a waste of money.

If you want to get rich you better be willing to get up and actually work to make money. The reality is, not all of us will ever get rich. But if we spend more time working hard, instead of throwing money that can be invested out we can have a better chance of getting there.

Lol, actually, the Odds are BIGGER than you think. I remember that at school we calculated those probabilities. If I find the formula for that I'll post it. You'd be surprised.
