[ASK] Prosper202 SubIDs

9 replies
Hi guys,

I need your help, please. This is going to be my first time ever to deploy a very big campaign on Bing with almost 100K keywords (direct linking / broad match) and I have grouped them into hundreds of AdCopies & AdGroups but I don't know how am I able to setup the SubID and its variations on P202. Since it's impossible to track based on {keyword} alone, how am I able to also monitor this campaign right down to AdCopy & AdGroup ? Thanking you in advance, guys!

    you can give different c1, c2, etc ids to your ad copies and groups

      c3 = Ad Name

      That way you can filter it out in the Group Overview report.
      Is it like this ?

      _http://domain.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=999&t202kw={keyword}&c1={campaign}&c 2={adgroup}&c3={adcopy}

        Pretty much yes. I wouldn't put the full ad copy into a c variable, just put something like "AdA", "AdB", "AdC", etc.

          Ahh, yes of course! I just want to make sure first that the format is correct. This is my first time ever creating a monster campaign instead of one or two adgroups etc which I can easily monitor them manually, thanks to both of you

      Hi Nana,

      Thanks for coming and the link as well but your example doesn't use curly brackets {} at all so which format is correct if I want to track down each of adgroup and adcopy?

      • Hi I didn't use curly brackets because I hard coded the values in the example link.

        In your case you can use the following as you did in an earlier post:

        hxxp://domain.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=999&t202kw={keyword}&c1={campaign}&c 2={adgroup}&c3={adcopy}

        This will allow you to dynamically pass in values to Prosper202 from bing (or any other traffic source)

          OK noted, thanks

          BTW in case anyone interested, I just found some tokens that Bing Ads currently supports :

          1. Keyword
          - Shows the keyword that generated the click
          - Append: &keyword={Keyword}
          - Parameter: keyword

          2. Query
          - Shows the keyword entered that generated the click
          - Append: &query={QueryString}
          - Parameter: query

          3. Match Type
          - Shows the Match Type that triggered your ad (e = exact, p = phrase, b = broad)
          - Append: &match={MatchType}
          - Parameter: match

          4. Ad ID
          - Shows the Ad ID assigned by Big Ads for the Clicked Ad
          - Append: &ad={AdId}
          - Parameter: ad
