Pof traffic versus 7 search traffic for CPA marketing

Hi, I am new to CPA Marketing and need your suggestions or comments on POF and 7 search traffic. Which of these 2 has better quality traffic. I check through their alexa ranking and this is what I get : 1) 7 search - Alexa Traffic Rank: 4,391 United States Flag Traffic Rank in US: 2,008, link-icon Sites Linking In: 2,482. 2) POF -
Site Information for plentyoffish.com, Get Details , Alexa Traffic Rank: 16,161 United States Flag Traffic Rank in US: 5,101, link-icon Sites Linking In: 3,029. In terms of Alexa Ranking -7 search traffic is way better then 7 search. Can someone let me know the traffic cost in CPM. Is 7 search cheaper or more expensive than POF? In terms of the Quality Traffic which of these are better?

I don't know that the traffic quality of one is necessarily better than the other. The're simply different traffic platforms and need to be approached differently.

There are certain offers that will perform better with POF traffic, and others that perform better with 7 Search. Since POF is a CPM network, your click prices will depend mainly on the CTR of your ads. On 7 Search, the click prices will depend more on the bidding environment.

Generally speaking, I imagine clicks will be less likely to convert coming from 7 Search, than from a tightly targeted POF campaign. I also imagine they will be cheaper. You should be more concerned with the ROI you generate, rather than just the click prices.

I suggest that you pick one or the other and stick with it. Both are good traffic platforms and good places to start out promoting CPA offers.

Well, I will be more into weight loss and dating offers, since these are the hot offers
in the market right now with the volume. I know each search engine has their strength and weakness in terms of the quality and volume of traffic. Giving a certain amount to spend on PPC I would pick the one that could give me a ROI or re-cover my time and investments at the shortest period of time. The first step is critical to my success and confidence in the PPC industry. Another question is landing page a must or not necessary? thanks

I would suggest POF for weight loss and dating. The targeting is very sophisticated for these types of offers. Since POF is a dating site it's self, it's already pretty well targeted for dating!

If you are going to go with POF, I would most definitely go with a landing page. Since dating is such a popular niche to advertise on POF, you'll need to create your own angles.

Hi MTVida, I am kind of concern or a bit worry about setting up my campaign either using 7 search or POF. It would be great if I could screen shots my campaign to someone who is willing to help me before it goes live so that any mistakes that I have make can still be corrected if someone who is experience can make some last minute tweaking before I launch the campaign? The less mistakes I make the better is my chances of Success : ) I hope someone could help Thanks

Like the others said both are great!

If you share what kind of offers or products your trying to promote we'll tell you which is better targeting wise.

When I approach a new ad network, I always pay attention to targeting features and volume.

I would use Plenty of Fish if you are going to do dating offers.

Also your first few month will be probably you failing a lot, so get over the fear of it.

Took me about 3 months and 2k before I was profitable.

No one hits homeruns off the bat, but if your scared to setup to the plate you never will.

I agree with MTVida. It depends on the offers you are promoting. Part of setting up a campaign and planning your media spend and what types of media, ppv, ppc, and which platforms you use will depend on the type of offer you are promoting. Look at the type of websites that the platforms cover. Best of luck Nick

I've found when it comes to PPC, nothing stacks up in quality compared to Google Adwords and BING. Granted, clicks are cheaper but its very hard to get decent lead quality via 2nd tier PPC platforms including facebook ads.

    Kind Regards,
    Nick
