Prosper202 vs Demon Tracking, conflicting views

Prosper202 vs Demon Tracking, conflicting views which is best for PPV/CPA

Both have been recommended over the other to me by separate people.

As far as I can tell the following are the main differences:

Prosper202 can handle at least 2 variables such as AFFID and RID
Demon Tracking can only handle 1 variable in the URL

Prosper202 may arguably be heavier on the database
Demon Tracking has more functionality?

Any comments please let me know your experience.

I should add that I already have bought DT including the landing pages extra's so am somewhat biased toward it. So am a bit conflicted when people are saying P202 is better???

DT works really nice for rotating landing pages and changing campaigns on the fly but ultimately I needed prosper to track more than one variable and for the C1/C2 etc id's.

Yea if DT could get the 2 variables such as AFFID and RID going it would be nice...

You don't really need seperate subids. Put them all in one.

Sure, you get the data that way, but it sure is nice to have a tracking system that will let you sort and organize it with a few mouse clicks. Sorting and compiling that data by hand is an incredible time drain. That's why I say Prosper 202.

That's what I was thinking MTV. I wonder why DT doesn't have the sub ID's figured out??

I just commented on another thread pertaining to Prosper202, I was on the fence about Demon Tracker and prosper.

So I'm happy to see some good advice on which way to go.
            Thanks,

I totally agree, but at the same time depending on what it is, a simple excel spreadsheet can be very useful

On a side note, I've never even heard of demon tracker :$

I wish to thank you for your video tutorials, they are clear and easy to follow, unlike a lot of stuff that can deter non-tech people like me

            Really awesome !!

            Cheers,

Demon Tracking isn't as popular as 202, that's why people may seem biased.

I've only heard of Demon Tracking a few times.

    Never have used it.

    202 or CPALab for me.

Having used both, I tend to prefer Bevo tracking - less overhead and more efficient imo..

Thanks for the Bevo Tracking tip...When I first looked I had thought it was only a hosted solution. But now I see there's a self hosted version.

After a scary experience (getting all my links disabled with a nasty warning message) with an online tracking solution, I will only use self hosted from this point forward!
