Concerned about identity after CPA application

Hey guys,

So the other day I completed an application for no doubt one of the smaller CPA companies, ProfitKingsMedia. I didn't read the best stuff about them, but I figured being small I'd have a much better chance of getting in (I've never done any CPA marketing before).

So I filled out the whole application... Name, address, SSN, you name it.

Now on there application, they says it'll take 1 business day to process your application. It's now been 4 days, and I've called and emailed every single phone number and email I could find on there site. I never get a response from email, and the phone gets deliver to a message box that's already full.

As if I haven't already learned my lesson about joining sketchy CPA networks, I'm very concerned about my identity, just from the shear about of information in an application.

Should I be as concerned as I am?

Cheers.

Identity theft is a big issue and a reasonable concern, especially in this situation. I would suggest getting a credit monitoring service for a while and watch to make sure no inquiries, loans, credit lines, etc. are opened in your name.

Now learn from this mistake and hope for the best. Stick with the better known CPA networks. I'd recommend going to Offervault.com. They have a listing on nearly every worthwhile CPA network out there and it's FREE.

It's really not that difficult to get with a reputable CPA network. I suggest going after multiple ones. That way if one shoots you down you have other options. There are numerous resources available here on the forum for getting approved by CPA networks. Just do a little research.

Also not that I get a commission for saying this, but I also suggest joining the War Room here on the Warrior. It's the best $37 I've spent in IM. They have lots of great FREE and low cost resources, not available to the free membership and a great way to network with the more advanced and experienced Warriors.

    Good luck and best regards!.

    1. Don't use an affiliate network if "I didn't read the best stuff about them." You can easily get into the top networks with zero experience.

    2. They aren't trying to steal your identity, lots of CPA companies don't approve people until they call in. Or they are just slow.

But honestly just go join.... Ads4Dough, Peerfly, MaxBounty, NeverBlue, Convert2Media, and ClickBooth.

Thanks for the response. I suppose I should surf around and see if anyone can watch my identity for awhile. I'm only a college student so it's money I'd rather not spend, but I guess it could be worth it.

And don't worry, I've learned my mistake.

I've tried applying to other top CPA companies in the past (like NeverBlue or EWA networks) and they turned me down. But that was because I had zero experience and a pretty pathetic website at the time. I signed up for Peerfly yesterday, so we'll see how that application goes.

And to your second point... I hope they aren't. Like I mentioned, I have tried to call them, and get in contact in any way possible. They only contact I've got from them was the automated response from completing my application.

Have you tried calling these companies, that will help your approval process.
