Advertiser is scrubbing me. What to do?

tested the same offer at 2 networks, something shady is definitely going on over at network A (probably advertiser scrubbing, doubt network is shaving me). i still want to run traffic to network A though. is there anything my AM can do to fix the advertiser scrubbing?

    The only things you can do is ask your am (they probably won't do anything) or switch traffic to the other network

    If the offer is converting well, find the same or similar offers on other networks, add them to your campaigns, and rotate them.

    Just send traffic to the other network. That's why you test the same offer with different networks.

    Also, it doesn't matter if network A has a higher payout if they are scrubbing. This is why many times the conversion ratio matters just as much.

    If your running offer from network A and are getting scrubbed, yet running from network 2 just fine then it is not the advertiser it is the network,

    I had got CR for 29 from network A and made about 40 leads a day, then was offered 31 from network b and just like most i fell for it and my leads dropped below 30.

    Ask the network if they are getting the offer direct if they lie and say yes and you know same offer is doing good on another network then ditch them, because they are the ones scrubbing you or the network they are brokering it from is. either way there being dishonest.

      I agree with Brian, that this is a possibility.

      Going back to shaving though. If the end merchant is shaving based on the overall quality of a network (and not on the individual affiliates), then if network A is sending poorer quality than network B, then network A will be shaved harder.

      One more option: If network A is brokering the campaign from network C, and network B is getting the campaign direct from the merchant, that extra level of redirect (on both the click and the pixel), will affect conversion and so network A will convert at a lower level than network B.

      Finally, your testing may lead to perceived shaving. If the offer itself converts better in the late afternoon, but you are testing network A from midnight to noon and network B from noon to midnight, network A will seem to convert less.

      When split testing, you should always use a script that will alternate clicks to network A and network B so that you are testing both at the exact same time under the same circumstances. Otherwise your results could be skewed.

          I'm guessing it's because that network has a bigger payout, which, as I stated earlier, is why CR is just as important.

            Thats the game right there, i look at offer vault and odigger and i can assure when i see a network called raccoon something advertising a higher payout then maxbounty or Neverblue you can bet im still gonna contact the other two.

            So many affiliates get caught up with payouts and do not realize the EPC is what matters,

            as i stated before i was running CR getting 29 per lead and getting around 40 leads a day, someone offered me me 31 and i jumped at it and lost 10 or more leads a days.

            29x40 = $1160
            31x30 = $930

            Just cause someone offers you more does not mean jack. you look at that one example and i actually got paid more running the offer for less,

            had someone ask me about Equifax and free trial paid 25 he said i get 30, my reply was there you go run it there cause i am with many networks and no one i know was offering more then 26 for the free trial according to OV & OD only one said 30 and allowed incent but that is from 1betternetwork, enough said, so i know for a fact the person giving him 30 is getting it back one way or another.

            Do not get me wrong payout is important but what i am saying is if you see a no name network advertising 30 and every one else including top notch networks like MB or NB advertising 25 - 26 all i gotta say is go with MB or NB lol

            Edit - typo's i really need to give up the idea of speed typing lol
