Try using bustaname.com. I believe you can get them even cheaper b/c of a discount he's worked out with Godaddy.

  I'm pretty sure that's not true. LOL
  They get Godaddy affiliate commission and people end up paying the normal price instead of the "Special deal price".

At NameSilo you can get one for a dollar cheaper (with their dollar off coupon) and you get free privacy registration. You also don't have to worry about paying higher renewal fees like you do with GoDaddy.

  Yeah, go to a deals site like slickdeals.net and setup an alert for Godaddy. You can get them as low as 99 cents. Look for deals around this Superbowl time. They got two new ads rolling out. $9 isn't that great of a deal IMO, because you'll see them for around $4.99 most of the time through some affiliate site.
