Is There a Formula to CPA?
With thousands of Internet marketers entering paid advertising, I do sometimes wonder how many are going to actually make enough money to stay in the game?
Let us suppose that you create what most of you here would say is a "decent looking" landing page for an offer in a popular niche. You find the right traffic source, bid smartly, test often and refine your ad. Lets take it one step further and thrown in the fact that your testing metrics lets you dump losers before you spend too much. Will this person, ultimately succeed? Will they find winners with this method? Is there a method at all?
What I am starting to hear on this forum and others is "You must be creative." "The ad needs to grab you so you will need a great headline and eye-catching graphics." "You have to find a new and inventive way to find prospects that will convert."
In other words, you can read everything, pour over the message boards of free and paid forums and even get the sage advice offered by a paid coach. But, if you are not creative, inventive, able to approach the popular theme markets with something different, you might be a casualty. This is not the formula business of building the authority site, getting authority links, social signals, etc. to rank in a search engine. This is the advertising business and you need to be an Ad Man (or Women).
I would find it encouraging if some of you with more experience told me I am wrong. That you can stick to tried and proven methods, a formula, and still make money.
