Starting with CPA Questions...

Hi All,

Posting this into the right forum now.

I dabble a lot in Amazon and other similar affiliate sites. Now I wish to full-fledgedly enter into CPA. But this looks like one big maze. Getting accepted into CPA Networks, learning the tricks, selecting business models (PPC / PPV / PPT), sites and more is what I am slowly starting with.

So would appreciate some golden tips from you seasoned CPA warriors out there. What would you recommend as:
  • The One CPA course to read; and trash out all the other junks.
  • Which CPA network to begin with which will accept newbies.
  • What business model to start with (PPC / PPV / Pay Per Text)
  • And which network to start with (Google Adwords, MSN Adcentre, 7 Search etc)

Sorry for posting a question too many. I am sure your inputs would help a tonne of us who are looking into venturing into CPA to start on the right foot.

    i'd start with PPC and adwords if i were you, simply because it is easiest to work with imo.
    also you can make some keyword research directly from the keyword tool, this way you can calculate for yourself the CPC and the offer you are going to promote, see if it is profitable or even worth trying.

    1. There is plenty of free information on these forums, blogs, everywhere. I don't know many courses out there that give you more than basic information. Skip them and use the money on your own campaigns.
    2. Go to AffPaying.com and sign up for the first few pages of networks. Call after applying to get through faster.
    3. Hard to say. Do research and figure out which one will be best for whatever niche you want to play with.
    4. Facebook Ads, PoF Ads, Sitescout. The big search partners are cracking down on Affiliates. Google hates us all.

    Choose one business model, master it, scale it up till you are profitable. Only after then, you can choose to master another business model.

    Figure what you want to learn first, there are a lot of great free material out there. If you just want a overview of CPA check out Shoemoney's iphone app. It is pretty informative.

    Which CPA network to begin with which will accept newbies.
    Nearly they all will, I recommend Peerfly, MaxBounty, NeverBlue, Convert2Media, and Ads4Dough.

    What business model to start with (PPC / PPV / Pay Per Text)
    That is for you to decide they can work!

    And which network to start with (Google Adwords, MSN Adcentre, 7 Search etc)
    Well once you figure out what type of traffic you want to learn go from there. But stay away from Adwords they hate affiliates.
