Is Youtube marketing allowed for maxbounty campaigns?

I am aware that Youtube marketing is applicable for offers on peerfly that allow social PPC. is that the case with maxbounty and other top notch CPA networks?

You will need to check the allowed promotional methods by offer, you could also reach out to your am to know for sure

Thanks for the reply Chris. But I was just asking in general. I had seen a post on lukepeerfly's blog that said offers that have social PPC allowed can be promoted on youtube. So, does the same apply to maxbounty as well, say in general?

I have always considered youtube trraffic as "search Traffic" since it's a search engine

I guess YouTube is either display or social, depending on whether you're buying through GCN or just putting a link below a video.

Ask your AM. Some offers (mostly big brand offers that don't want to be associated with YouTube spam) might object but most offers are fine with YouTube traffic.

  • Ask your affiliate manager, it will depend on the offer.

Generally yes, but ALWAYS talk to your Affiliate Manager first to get them to give you an answer. Because things varie network to network.

      Thanks Greedy,
I thought there would be a generic answer to it.

I am just concerned because it would be quite a hassle asking the affiliate manager everytime... if there were some easy rule to sort offers that allow youtube marketing, it would be great

We consider Youtube video marketing to be social marketing. If the campaign you want to run says social is allowed, then you can use Youtube to advertise the campaign.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

        Thank you.

Thank you so much Steven. That was really helpful.
I also have something more to ask regarding maxbounty.

How many offers can I pick from maxbounty to promote? Say if I am really hyperactive and have good knowledge on a wide variety of products... am I allowed to promote all of the offers related to them? For example...can I promote 100 offers?

You can promote as many offers as you'd like, but successfully promoting offers requires traffic/results measurement, analysis and tweaking of your ads. You might find it difficult to do that if you are running hundreds of offers.

Hmm.. I can understand... thanks for your help.
One more question... is Pinterst traffic allowed for offers that allow social PPC?

The offer must be allowed to be promoted by Social PPC otherwise you can't.

As Steve said, since Pinterest is a social network, then any campaign that Maxbounty campaign that allows "social" should be fine.

This wouldn't be considered social since the traffic "to Maxbounty" is coming directly from your website (I am assuming your landing page is on your site). In that case you would most likely be using a contextual link or banner ad on your landing page/site.
If you link from Youtube directly to Maxbounty then that would be considered social.

Yes, I agree, i would speak to the AM to get the approval before I start running the traffic through youtube.
