Hey guys,

This is my first adult campaign and I'm wondering whats a general rule for ad CTR? I want to know what ads are worth keeping and what to cut. Thanks!

Sorry I should have mentioned, it's CPM.

Ninety-nine percent of advertising doesn't sell much of anything.

ok. this is how it works with cpm
    say you are directlinking.
say your offer average epc is $0.25
say you are paying $0.50 cpm at your traffic source
so to break even in the long run you need to get 2 clicks per every 1000 views on average.
2 clicks per 1000 views = 0.2% ctr, so you need to aim for higher than that to be profitable.
adjust numbers to suit your circumstances and you should get a very rough guestimate

if you were using a landing page you whould include that in your calculations of course, but you wont know your lp ctr until you run some traffic to it, thats why it's always hard to come up with these kind of figures before you actually run the campaign, lose some money and get some data.

the main rule with every traffic source is that your ad epc should be higher than your ad cpc. this is all that matters. that can be achieved with even 0.01% ad ctr if your cpc is low and payout is high.

RON wise, with high CTR ads I was getting .06% CTR, but it can get really high if you get more specific and use JuicyAds and stuff.
