Have I to Create a Landing Page to promote CPA Offers via Social Networks?

Hello Warriors,
I have a simple question.

I am starting with CPA marketing and I don't have much idea about it.
I wanted to ask if I need to create a Landing Page and promote the offer and send traffic to the Landing page or sending directly to the sign up page would do?

I am particularly interested in working with Twitter and Pinterest for promoting CPA offers.

    When promoting with social media I recommend using your own landing page. The social media sites consider a direct affiliate link spam.

    Usually I create a high converting squeeze page and send traffic to my SP.

    This way, I build my list in different niches.

    This help me to:

    1- Get high CTR, by pre-sell the offers.

    2- Promote very related CPA offers to this list.

    I always create landing pages. They are awesome for conversions. Also many newbies worry that you are decreasing traffic towards your offer but its like this - its not about the quantity its about the quality.
    You get pay per lead offers because in the end they are going to pay for sales. Landers are like sale boosters.
    It should feel like this - yeah this makes sense.

      This may be a stupid question but how would a cpa network know that traffic to an offer was coming from twitter followers or other social media sources?

    Unless the offer states that you need to then you won't need to, however you should ALWAYS split test with landing pages against direct linking
