EWA hasn't paid me for 4 months

I had no idea. Just started finding other threads on the forum here. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything better from them, they had plenty of opportunity to tell me in the emails I sent them, but obviously they were hoping I'd just keep sending them free traffic.

I am an advertiser, we made quite high prepayment and setup the campaign.... no traffic, no conversions and now it looks like we are not getting our upfront payment back. Sucks...

The opinons regarding Ryan Eagle are spot on. Not the sycophantic ones, the ones who recommend you steer clear of some little bling idiot who tries to show his gold rings off and thinks it's cool, 'cos he saw 50 cent do it on MTV.

A little kid, out of his depth, obsessed with spending all his cash on bling and material stuff.

A real little tasteless piece of trash who knows very little about the world.

He used to drink (BS anyway), whoah everyone, he grinds so hard at work, he's a Republican. Big freakin deal. All I care about is doing business and he was a crock of useless pig sh!t for that.

Ryan, if you're reading this, and skulk in the shadows without responding, your name is sullied forever, everywhere you go.

Or you can man up and pay your affiliates.

Typical, these CPA networks go out of business all the time, it comes with the business that where in.
I find the guys that have been around maybe 4 years are the ones who come and go.

The few networks that have been around a while have track record and I don't think they are going to bounce anytime soon. Clickbooth, maxbounty, peerfly, are all pretty strong company's these other networks are sometimes running the network from there basements lol

Its sucks for a lot of guys who have lost money pushing them, I was lucky to get my deposit back before they went belly up, at one point got a letter from their creditors.

I was surprised to see them go to be honest, as they appeared to be ramping up their international presence over the past few months. However, news of them not paying affiliates did serve as a warning sign that they might be in some financial trouble.

Luckily for me, I hadn't sent any traffic through EWA for over a year. I hope other affiliates didn't lose too much money.

I remember a hate blog post before about him somewhere on the net. It was when EWA started to fall into pieces and managers are preparing to shutdown Ryan's business in order. Then someone saw a photo of him with his brand new sports car. It was interpreted as him lavishly spending affiliates money. I never followed the story whether he answered to that or not.

I think it's more then just a big network going under, it's a statement of how a lot of affiliates do things that are borderline illegal and networks end up taking huge, business ending hits. Then the innocent affiliates are left holding the bag.

There's too much crap in the CPA world and networks have to be very careful now with who they take traffic from.

The best bet to avoid such things happening to you is to keep yourself updated and never stick with just one network , if you hear about people having payment issue s be very careful and take out all your commissions and try to move away and never expect from your affiliate manager to tell you that the cany pay , every one here is to make mone no matter affiliate , affiliate manager , network staff ,network owner or its advertiser its all about $$$ .

The fact is a lot of CPA offers are fraudulent. (The $500 gift card that never appears even if someone completes 83 gold, silver, bronze, platinum and diamond offers).

For whatever reason, these are the types of offers newbie marketers flock to. Similarly, many networks lack the credibility in the 'real world' to get real offers.

The result is basically a Ponzi scheme where the network keeps hoping some big offer will hit, or a whale of a CPA marketer will make it a lot of money. In the meantime, the crap roles downhill and the last to get paid, if there is any money, are the CPA marketers.

Sorry for the affiliates who lost money here but unfortunately this happens in this game. Over the years I have been ripped off for thousands of dollars from different affiliate companies that paid well for some time and then suddenly shut down. My advice: multiple streams of income. Don't ever let yourself get into a situation where you rely on just one company.

Here's an apology note from Ryan in Urdu which he posted on http://www.facebook.com/groups/pakis...rnetmarketers/ on 19th Feb 2013. in this post he claims he'll pay all the affiliates and gain his reputation back. Moreover he says all the traffic on his network will be stopped in March 2013. If he's all gone then why is he not shutting down the website?

Be always careful with the networks you're working with. Visit forums regularly and make sure that you are up to date and know everything that's going on in the CPA industry so that you can pause your campaign immediately if a network stops paying.
